SAT - San Antonio is a 45 minute drive
AUS - Austin is about an hour and a half drive

Getting Around

We are 30 minutes to New Braunfels where you will find good grocery stores (HEB), restaurants and shopping.  

There is no public transport.

San Antonio is the closest major city and is approximately 45 - 1 hr away.

Dan and I have retired to our lake house in Canyon Lake, Texas.  Dan is a retired geophysicist who has traveled extensively for his job and I am a retired CPA who would love to travel a lot more!  We love hiking in the Pacific NW, cruising, and visiting our National Parks.
