Neighbourhood

The neighbourhood is quiet with mainly large properties in the surrounds. Locals enjoy walking their dogs in the mornings and evenings. The area is full of people running and cycling all week in mornings and evenings. There is a green belt (a public open space) a 3 minute walk down our road. Our location is ideally suited to get to the city centre and V&A Waterfront, as well as the Deep South towards Cape Point and tour the Peninsula. There are many world class fine restaurants within a 3-10 minute drive of our home. There are 2 boutique-style shopping centres within 2-4km which have everything you will need during your stay.

Nearest airport

Cape Town International Airport is 25-30 minutes drive without traffic to our home.

Getting Around

It is best to hire a car while visiting Cape Town. This way you’ll be able to enjoy the many sights and places Cape Town has to offer. Uber works well here for going out in the evening if you prefer not to drive at night. There is no public transport system I would recommend. I would say to avoid the local taxis and bus service. There are many great private tour operators who can do around the Peninsula tours or to the Stellenbosch winelands.
