Neighbourhood
The neighbourhood is quiet with mainly large properties in the surrounds. Locals enjoy walking their dogs in the mornings and evenings. The area is full of people running and cycling all week in mornings and evenings.
There is a green belt (a public open space) a 3 minute walk down our road.
Ourlocation is ideally suited to get to the city centre and to the Deep South towards Cape Point and tour the Peninsula.
There are many fine restaurants within a 3-10 minute drive of our home.
Nearest airport
Cape Town International Airport is 25-30 minutes drive without traffic to our home.
Getting around
It is best to hire a car while visiting Cape Town. This way you’ll be able to enjoy the many sights and places Cape Town has to offer.
Uber works well here for going out in the evening if you prefer not to drive at night. There is no public transport system I would recommend. I would say to avoid the local taxis and bus service.
There are many great private tour operators who can do around the Peninsula tours or to the Stellenbosch winelands.

I’m happy to be available for any advice needed for people staying and visiting Cape Town. I have many local contacts and recommendations for restaurants, places of interest, and medical emergencies.
