General overview
Welcome to our home :) A beautiful and spacious house with pool about 20 minutes away from the centre of the amazing city of Madrid, 5 minutes walking to all the services and amenities our beautiful village has to offer, and situated in a protected park with nature all around. Our house is thoughtfully assembled with love, and is a great family home. With plenty of natural light and great views of the surrounding landscape. The home is airy and shaded in summer while also cozy and warm in the winter months. The house could comfortably accommodate a family with young kids (we would have EVERYTHING your kids would neeed, toys, bikes, football field, cribs, highchairs, buggies... just ask for anything) or can also be adopted for a family with older kids.
The space
On the ground floor you have a glass enclosed porch before entering to a comfortable, well lit hall. The hall leads into a double height salon with adjoining dining area. Natural light and Nordic decor is a feature throughout (props to momma :D). This floor also contains a kitchen with island, bathroom, and a toy room full of toys.
On the first floor we have 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom with King Size bed, spacious closet and en-suite with bathtub, shower and twin sinks. The girls room is complete with spacious closet area and en-suite with bathtub/shower and changing table for an infant. The boys room is adjacent to a common bathroom with bathtub/shower and finally there is an office/bedroom with pull out double bed.
The basement is set up as a lounge/bar with bathroom, laundry room and storage room. This floor also has an additional bedroom and accesses the garage with a well equipped home gym, which has a punching bag, ab machine, weights, eliptical machine and a vibration platform. We also have electrical bikes for adults and for children, that you can take to see our amazing surroundings.
The garden is accessed from the main floor and contains multiple outdoor dining set ups with bbq, out door fireplace, some lawn for the kids to play with football goals and a swimming pool enclosed with a fence and containing a small shed. And of course the BEST thing, the VIEWS to nature and Canto del Pico all around.

Neighbourhood
We live in the village of Torrelodones, the most desired village in proximity to the capital (24km). It is the gateway to the mountains north of Madrid and the house is directly accessible via our back door to the protected Parque Regional de la Cuenca Alta del Manzanares.
The house is a 5 minute walk to the center of the village. A typical charming Spanish pueblo with pedestrianized center, littered with bars, restaurants & cafes full of ambience and outdoor seating. Perfect for enjoying an evening meal from any of the number of great restaurants.
The house is across the street from a public athletics track and close to supermarkets, schools (also international) and the municipal sports club.
There are plenty of parks and outdoor activities in the immediate vicinity making this a great place for young families or those looking to enjoy the outdoors and an authentic Spanish lifestyle.
In the summer the fiestas of Torrelodones take place during the month or August and are not to be missed. And there are lots of Summer Camps for the kids around, so they get to meet other kids while the parents can rest in the pool. :)
