Neighbourhood
The flat itself is quiet but it is around the corner from Broughton and Leith, both of which are full of independent bars, cafes, delis and restaurants. there are many bookshops, vintage clothes shops and galleries in the area.
The historic old town , castle etc are 30 minutes walk or you can take one of many buses. The beautiful Arthur's Seat and Calton Hill parks are also within walking distance and you can hop on a bus to the seaside in Portobello from round the corner.
Getting to my home
The tram from the airport stops round the corner and it is 10 minutes walk from the rail stations
Nearest airport

Getting around
We are literally in the centre of things here ! I would not advise a car because it's more bother than it's worth but if you do need to have one I can arrange visitors parking tokens so you can park outside the flat.

Hi. I'm recently retired from the community sector and I love to travel. I used to Air B N b and am very comfortable sharing my home but it's all got a bit too commercial there. I'm hoping to make swaps with good people . My backpacking days are over and I'm now more interested in seeing places from a local's point of view..
