Centrally-located, quiet one-bedroom garden cottage. It shares our backyard with the veggie garden, chicken coop/palace, and a forest of raspberry plants (help yourself in summer and fall!). Located in the "urban village" with great food and shops including the local co-op grocery store. 1-4 blocks from multiple bus lines, walking distance to Capitol Hill and Madrona neighborhoods.
The space
This cozy cottage has one bedroom but if you're traveling with children we can provide an inflatable mattress, a toddler mattress for the floor, and/or a pack-and-play crib.

Emily
We are Emily and Jules, lifelong travelers and parents to daughters ages 13, 16, and 18 (also lifelong travelers). We have been hosts and guests through Servas, and while we are new to PLU we have done several home exchanges through another platform.
We are open to many destinations but are currently interested in trades around the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia, New York, New Orleans, and Europe.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
Herbs and vegetables, help yourself in the garden.

It wouldn't be Seattle without a great cup of coffee. Squirrel Chops (one block away) is my favorite--but also check out Katy's, Avole, and Union Coffee, all within four blocks.
