General Overview

Brand new home located on Shortts Lake. We have a huge yard for kids to run & play, 14 ft spring-free trampoline, dock to enjoy the sunrise & sunsets, and 2 kayaks available. As this is our secondary home, we rent it out on Air bnb. Any time it is free it can be used for exchanges. It is a great location to explore the Maritime provinces. You can reach downtown Halifax in 1 hr, New Brunswick in 1.5 hrs, Prince Edward Island in 2.5 hrs, Cape Breton Island in 3 hrs.

The Space

Brand new open concept home on a lake. There are 2 bedrooms on the main level, both with ensuite bathrooms (shower only) and walk-in closets. Master bedroom has a King size bed as well as private deck overlooking the lake. The second bedroom has a Queen size bed as well as garden door onto the deck. The lower level has 1 bedroom with a Queen size bed as well as a twin size bed. There is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

There are 2 levels in the house with stairs. 2 bedrooms on the main level as well as 2.5 bathrooms. Lower level has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom.

Neighbourhood

We are located on beautiful Shortts Lake in the village of Brookfield. Gas station, pharmacy, grocery store, coffee shop, liquor store are located a short 5 mins away. The town of Truro is another 10 minutes away with many more shops, restaurants, bars.

Getting to my home

Fly into Halifax (YHZ). You will need to rent a car. Car exchange possible if we are exchanging with you. We have a 2020 Acura RDX SUV, seats 5.

Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ) located 30 minutes away

Getting Around

You will need your own car. There is no public transportation.
