What I love the most about my home is the location. It is far enough away from Vancouver, yet close enough to get there to enjoy all Vancouver has to offer. Or just stay put and enjoy all that Delta has to offer.
The space
My home has two levels. Walking in through the front door 7 steps, you will find the living/dining area, three bedrooms and one main bathroom. The first bedroom has a queen size bed, an ensuite with a toilet and sink. Second bedroom has a double bed with a single above it. The third bedroom is a library/work space.
Downstairs has access to the garage. There is a laundry room equipped with a washer and dryer, a simple and small workout area, recreational room with a large TV (Netflix and Prime) and one bedroom with a double bed and a small bathroom with a shower.
Outside you will find a large partly covered deck that looks out onto a beautiful treed Blake Canyon that has a creek running through it.
Guest access
There is access from the front door and through the garage. Entry through the front door you will have a seven step climb to the main/top floor and a seven step decline to the lower floor. The lower floor is partially underground, so is nice and cool in the summer months. If you enter through the garage, you will enter the lower level of the house and have a 14 step climb. The top floor.

I am a mother, a grandmother and a newly retired teacher. I'm looking for new adventures and fun. I have two sons, two daughter-in-laws and two grandchildren. I have new to home exchanges, but I am looking forward to meeting people and sharing my home in hopes that you will enjoy what I enjoy every day here in Delta and other neighbouring cities in BC.
I will either be travelling by myself with my son and daughter-in-law or with a friend or two.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
