General overview
The house is in Skødstrup 18 km from Aarhus, the second largest Danish city. Close to the beaches, water activities (SUP, kayak, windsurfing etc), numerous cultural attractions (opera house, theater, festivals, museums (Aros with the "rainbow", Moesgaard etc), old city of Aarhus, historic monuments), high end/Michelin cuisine, and not to mention the great pastries, breweries, wineries and much more. The city has great shopping, also second hand stores. There is fantastic tracking, biking trails among the best in the world. It is also close to the large attraction Lego Land and Lego House.
Denmark is a relatively small country but has so much to offer and great diversity.
We will gladly provide you with suggestions according to your preferences.
The space
We live in a newer 4 bedroom, 2 full bath. In the master bedroom there is a king size bed, 2 single beds in the other rooms and 1 high bed in the last room. There is a large gourmet kitchen, where we spend a lot of time with our family. There is a lot of kitchen equiptment, professional espresso machine, Quooker, foodprocessors, ice cream maker etc.
There is a washer and dryer in the laundry room for free use.
Great sound with Sonos throughout the house for music and Apple tv. Nintendo Switch and more.
2 decks, one large with a large perkula markise to keep the temperature comfortable during the summer. There is also an air conditioner in the living room area. and mosquito nets throughout the house to ensure fresh air without bugs. The other terrace is open but covered by roof of the house, and a luxurious bonfire area in the back. The garden is closed /completely fenced in and has trampoline, playhouse, and outdoor games. There are bikes, that can be used as well as outdoor games and a SUP paddle board.
Guest access
There are 5 steps with carpet with railing separating the kitchen from the living room. Most of the house is with wooden floors and tiles.
Mols, Djurs Sommerland (24 km), Legoland 114 km etc.
Great museums especially Aros and Moesgaard. Moesgaard has the famous "gravballemanden", with maybe the best preserved marshy. The museum has popular and shifting excbitions.
Within walkning distance of the house approximately 800 meters to the train and bus.
Beach within 5 km.
Egå Engsø a few km from Skødstrup is known for the various birdlife.
Nationalpark Mols has among the best tracking tracks in the world and is 20 km. from our home. There are also many charming shops, farm shops, ceramicists etc.
The old city is located in Aarhus a short trip from our house. It is af five star open air museum.

We are looking forward to great experiences. We have exchanged multiple times in Denmark and a couple of times through PLU. All times have been a very positive experience. We all love the authentic feel it gives to be in a home. We are both nonsmokers and will take great care of your home and handle things with respect as it was our own and leave it clean and tidy. We have a dog, but we will not bring her on vacation as someone will take care of her while we travel.
