General Overview
This is a one story house with a flat driveway, 0.8 miles to the ocean and overlooks the 3rd hole at Seascape Golf Course and 15 minutes walking to the ocean.
I have a king bed in the primary bedroom, and 2 large guest rooms with a queen in one bedroom, and the other room has a queen and a double bed with a connected full bathroom.
The Space
The colors are seaglass blue and greens with a big comfie down sectional in the great room. There are 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.

Notes
This is a great home base to see Capitola, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel, Moss Landing and less than an hour to Los Gatos, SAP Center in San Jose, Santa Clara, and more.

Rio Del Mar is a very nice part of Aptos, CA in Santa Cruz County. There is a beach down the street with plenty of parking, a coffee shop, deli and restaurant. The house is over Seascape golf course. There is a nice grocery store nearby with a large hot/cold/salad food bar. Lots of wineries, breweries and restaurants nearby as well.
Getting to my home
Best to fly into San Jose Airport and drive about an hour to the coast and then south on Hwy 1 to Aptos, CA.
The house is about a half hour to Monterey or Carmel-by-the-Sea, and 15 min to Moss Landing (restaurants, views, on the ocean).

Getting Around
You'll need a car, but once you arrive you'll enjoy walking, hiking and swimming in the ocean if you like!

We stayed at Roxanne's lovely house for four nights while visiting town for my son's wedding. Her house is so beautiful, full of natural light and stylishly (and comfortably) furnished. It was exceptionally clean and welcoming. It's within walking distance of restaurants, a large grocery store, and even the beach if you're inclined. The house is on the 3rd hole of the Seascape Golf Course, so if we come back, my husband will bring his clubs!
Roxanne was so kind and welcoming and very easy to communicate with. She even went out of her way to make her home available to us one day early, saving us a night at a hotel. I look forward to exchanging with her in the future.

We had such an amazing stay in Aptos! The home was perfectly located within walking distance to the beach where we spend almost all weekend. Communication was smooth and thoughtful, making everything easy and enjoyable. The place was comfortable, welcoming, and exactly what we hoped for. We’d love to come back for many more stays!
Roxanne's lovely home was such a treat to share! It was well located and spacious and well equipped , overlooking a golf course green and majestic eucalyptus trees. Roxanne had prepared a very helpful welcome letter, with information about lots to do and see in the area. We spent a day at the magical The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park, which was the highlight of our trip!
We are grateful for such a lovely opportunity to enjoy this space, and especially appreciative of how easy Roxanne made this all happen!
Roxanne is the sweetest host with the most beautiful home! We had a lovely but short visit and we enjoyed the view of the golf course and the sun on the deck, and loved the little town of Aptos! The house is so well decorated and full of beautiful natural light. Roxanne left a detailed manual for us about the house and thought of everything! Thank you Roxanne!
We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Roxanne's home in Aptos, CA right by Santa Cruz. She was very responsive and easy (and fun) to communicate with beforehand, during, and after. Her home is gorgeous, spacious, and so comfortable. And she had great recommendations and suggestions for the area. I wish we'd had more time to spend there. Her home is also in a really great location--we were able to walk to the beach nearby, easily drive into Santa Cruz, and we also hit the Mystery Spot and checked out the UC Santa Cruz campus.
I hope someday she's able to visit the DC area so we can repay the kindness she showed us. :-)
It was a pleasure hosting Roxanne and her friends in our home. They were friendly, fun, communicative, and treated our home with great care and respect.
They were thoughtful guests and we felt completely comfortable having them in our home. We would happily welcome them back anytime and would highly recommend them to other hosts.

Roxanne was AWESOME! She was my first member guest, and was extremely helpful in providing me tips on how to navigate the PeopleLikeUs exchange system, and make a great experience for everyone. For example, she greatly helped me improve my welcome letter, and provided terrific insight regarding local spots of interest I might want to point out to future guests.
Roxanne was incredibly respectful of my property, and was even a wonderful friend to our very social kitty cat as well! She communicated well with me and my neighbor (who handed off the keys), and was very kind in her appreciation of both our home and community of Carmel.

Thanks Lena for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at your place! This house is a nice location. We saw a show at Red Rocks, caught a game at Coors Field, visited the Art "RiNo" (River North Art District), went to the Natural History Museum and did the short DinoRidge hike to see dinasuar bones & impressions, all with a great view of Red Rocks - https://dinoridge.org/ (check this out, it's pretty cool!).
Beds were comfie and we enjoyed visiting with coffee on your back patio in the mornings.

This condo is clean and comfortable and in an excellent location.
We would either walk 5 minutes to the bay and swim with turtles, or drive a mile or 2 up the road to another excellent spot where we'd enjoy coral and turtles and many fish. And - there is an excellent restaurant across the street, walking distance. We had a lovely week! Elizabeth communicates well and I appreciate her letting us stay!

Lot's place in San Francisco is awesome! The location is right near icon North Beach with excellent restaurants, pubs and wine bars in walking distance.
There is a lovely view of the water from their main room. The ceilings are tall, her house is clean and everything was very comfortable. I highly recommend staying at Lot's if you are lucky enough for it to be available.
I hope to return in the future and appreciated Lot's east-going, fun and kind dispostion. Thank you so much Lot!

Julie's house in Carmel by the Sea is amazing! A friend and I had the best time walking from her "Green Gables" house to the shops in Carmel, and eventually walking to the beach with our toes in the sand. The house has a beautiful courtyard with an adirondack chair facing so many flowers. It was a rare weekend where I relaxed and sat back watching the hummingbirds, butterflies and bees while petting her sweet cat, Uma Therman. The beds are comfortable, the house is charming, and the location is amazing! I came home wanting to landscape my yard with more flowers and get a cat! This house is a perfect 10!

Kim was a wonderful host and we loved her house!
Everything was comfortable, very clean and in a beautiful neighborhood with bunnies bouncing in the yards. I'd highly recommend staying here if you need to access anywhere from Boston to Cambridge and the surrounding areas. We went to Carlisle, Salem, and even drove up the coast through New Hanpshire and into southern Maine.
We found this to be an excellent central location. After sleeping really well (great bed!) we enjoyed coffee on the back patio. There are great restaurants nearby, including Bistro 5 and a mexican place on the corner (Kim has all the names and details in a well organized home manual).

Penny and Paul were wonderful hosts and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Prior to our visit they answered our questions and provided suggestions and recommendations. The house was clean and comfortable and everything I hoped for with our exchange. We look forward to hosting their family at our place in the summer time (non-sim exchange) and hope they will have as nice of a stay as we enjoyed at their property. Helen's house in Morro Bay was really wonderful!
We were very comfortable and thorougly enjoyed the location, as well as her comfie furniture, beds and very nice gardens.
The kitchen has pretty granite counters and everything we needed for our stay. The views out the windows are just beautiful.
Helen left a booklet filled with good information - including a directions to find a great hike right up the road that offers 360 degree spectacular views. The Central Coast is one of the prettiest areas in California and my mom, sister and I had a fabulous stay.
Helen was very generous and left goodies for us upon our arrival - and even decorated her home for the Fall season even though they were out of the country. I thought they were the perfect hosts and would recommend setting up a stay at Helen's place in Morro Bay.
Anyone would be very lucky to stay here!
