We're a family of 4 - husband & wife, and two grown up kids, though our son will only rarely come on exchange with us. We're an arty family: Jacqui is an artist, (& teaches) our daughter is a graphic designer, our son a photographer, and Graham... well his mid-meeting doodles have a certain artist flare. Luckily, the area we live in is rather a good place to live for creative inspiration. Our home is in the Lake District National Park - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - that has been made famous for its striking fells and lakes that have inspired many artists and writers over the generations (think of likes of Wordsworth, Ruskin, Beatrix Potter). We really want to have the opportunity to explore the world a little more and see 'people like us' as the perfect way to do so.
