Neighbourhood
We are blessed to be in the prestigious and famous Jumeirah neighborhood near the most beautiful beaches in the region. This is a very sought-after area of Dubai to live among and bump elbows with wonderful Emirati neighbors. Only Emiratis can own land in this area.
As this is a local neighborhood, it is considered a “dry neighborhood”. This means no alcohol (except in the hotels). There are loads of nice places to grab a drink nearby, but not anything walking distance. Personally, we love this and recommend you to try out the local lifestyle a few nights instead. “Cafes” in Jumeirah can be fully packed at night, especially on the weekends! Filled with Arabs enjoying their teas and coffees, cakes, and of course shisha. You’ll be among locals playing cards with friends, having date night, running business meetings, and more. Plus less calories and less hangover the next day. Think of the nicest cocktail lounge you know, minus the cocktails. Some cafes are open until 4am and the most popular one around the corner, Kabana, is open 24/7.
Around the corner from our home is the famous Jumeirah Beach Road, packed with trendy cafes, high end shisha bars, delicious local restaurants, and endless burger joints. The weekends are hustle and bustle around here as young locals zip by in their incredible custom cars.
Just beyond beach road is, of course, the beach. We are in the perfect spot to choose between the large quiet Nessnass beach or the famous and popular Kite Beach. Kite Beach has many cafes, food trucks, and activities for children including a scooter/ skate park, high jump trampolining, blow up slides, etc. Both beaches have lifeguards, calm waters, and are great to watch kite surfers. You can also rent paddle boards, kayaks, and even jet skis. You may use our chairs and umbrella. You may also use our adult bikes and kid scooters.
We are also quite close to Burj Al Arab, Souk Madinat Jumeirah, City Walk, and Le Mer. Because we are very near the most famous and easy freeway, SZR, it’s also a fast and simple drive to get to Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Marina, The Palm, Downtown, Burj Khalifa, and Dubai Mall. The same road makes travel from the airport easy and fast, usually under 25 minutes, and you can take it directly to Sharjah, RAK, and Abu Dhabi.

Getting around
We are walking distance to fantastic restaurants, cafes, lounges, and beaches.
We are willing to offer our car in swaps if you can offer yours as well. It should be possible to use our car depending on insurance, international licensing, etc. We can discuss this via message. It is a BMW X3 SUV.
Many tourists coming to Dubai opt for a “when in Rome” experience and rent a fancy car directly from the airport, which is very reasonably priced if booked ahead.
It is also incredibly easy to use the taxi service with an app called Careem which can have taxi drivers or private drivers at the door in a minute.
