Our home is situated in Ocean Reef, a suburb approximately 30 minutes' drive North of Perth, we are easily accessed from both city and airport by bus and train, though the easiest way to travel in Perth is by car. Our car is available for use as part of exchanges, and we have car seats available for use if needed too.
Ocean Reef is a beautiful, safe beachside suburb with an abundance of local parks and stunning nearby beaches. Hillarys Boat Harbour is a short 10 minute drive, with several dining and entertainment option there, including the Aquarium of Western Australia (AQWA).
There are many incredible places to explore in Perth, from the city and Kings Park, to the Fremantle Arts Precinct, Yanchep Caves and National Park, John Forrest National Park, Lesmurdie Falls, the Swan Valley wine region, and parts of the Bibbulman track. This is just to name a few - there are many more places than this to explore in Perth and surrounds, as well as Margaret River in our South West being a short few hours' drive, and Lancelin, the Pinnacles and several other tourist destinations/attractions within a couple of hours' drive to the North.
The space
Our home is a bright, spacious 4x2 with separate study, large yard and a pool, as well as being across the street from a playground. It is bright and modern, and well equipped with everything you need from a washer and dryer, to a dishwasher and even our car is available for exchange, for a comfortable stay. It is perfect for kids, travelling pets, and for working from home.
Guest access
Our home is on a single floor, with the rear lounge being sunken, though the backyard is also accessible via the laundry door. The doorways are not level entry, so it is not fully accessible, and the showers have brick height hobs.

Kristen and Kieran
We are a family of five who love the outdoors and adventure. I'm Kristen, a Social Worker and Photographer currently on maternity leave. My husband Kieran is an electrician. I'm from Perth, where we live, and Kieran is a Kiwi from Papamoa. Our three boys Alistair (4), Everett (2) and Bailey (3 months) would love to spend more time with their cousins and grandparents in NZ, so we are primarily seeking house swaps I'm and around the Bay of Plenty. We also have a dog, Scooby, who would love to come with us on our exchange.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
