Ray was fantastic, again. He and Mel stayed at our home recently and were great guests. We spoke on the phone a few times (as we had a house problem) and Ray was super helpful.
They are welcome back anytime.
Communication with Ray and Mel was excellent from the get go.
It was an absolute pleasure hosting them in our Penguin home.
Mel even offered to give my roses a prune, as I wasn't going to be home at the perfect rose pruning time.
I sincerely hope we meet, and am looking forward to our visit to their Bicheno home.
It was a pleasure to have Ray at our home. Communication was easy before, during and after the exchange. But most of all Ray took really good care of our home and left it spotless! Thank you.
Ray & Mel were fantastic guests! They looked after our house and left it in pristine condition. Communication was superb. I would definitely recommend an exchange with them :)
Ray and Mel were ideal guests to have staying in our home. They were friendly and easy to communicate with and respectful and considerate. They treated our home as their own and left it in great order. We highly recommend them and would love to have them back one day.
Ray and Mel were ideal guests. Easy to communicate with prior, during and following the exchange. They were very respectful of our home and left it in perfect condition, my plants definitely were healthier on our return!
We welcomed the feedback on all the places they were able to visit from our home as a base, some we haven’t been to ourselves!
We would recommend them highly as home exchange guests.
Ray and Mel were the perfect guests! We had easy communication before and during the exchange. They looked after our home beautifully, including watering house plants and feeding the tui's and kindly made sure it was ready for the next guests. We highly recommend Ray and Mel as exchangers and it's been a pleasure to get to 'know' them although we've yet to meet!
Ray and Mel looked after our campervan perfectly, cleaning her inside and out plus ensuring linen etc was ready for the next exchangers while we were on another exchange overseas.
Thank you so much!
We had the pleasure of exchanging with Larissa and everything went perfectly. Communication was very clear from the beginning, and she left our home in an impeccable condition. We are really happy with the exchange and can only recommend her as a guest for any future PLU exchanges.
We are really excited to get the opportunity to explore Larissa's part of the world in 2026.
Do you want the best of the US? Puako on the Big Island of Hawaii, just has to be it! Its tropical, oceanfront, coral reef right out in front, abundant sealife and so peaceful and relaxing and yet close enough to all the amenities you could want without it being in your face.
Barbara and Jack's home is so well positioned, and appointed for a great exchange experience. There are gorgeous beaches and rocky bays a short walk or ride away, magnificent reefs to snorkel or kayak, SUP or whatever watersport activities you love to do. There are resorts, food options and shopping nearby if you dont want to spend time in the bigger towns, and the roads to get to Kona and the airport are top notch.
We stayed here for 8 wonderful nights and absolutely loved every moment. The home is spacious, beautifully designed, so relaxing and offers a breathtaking view of the ocean—waking up to that every morning was unforgettable. The spa was a true highlight; relaxing in the hot bubbles after a day of exploring felt like paradise. The homes Lanai options are great for spending time soaking up the sun and views or seeking shade and breeze depending on the weather and well set up for outdoor dining.
The property has a lovely kitchen garden, which made cooking fresh, meals even more special. The kitchen itself was well-equipped, and the open layout made it easy to move around the space inside.
The outdoor shower was a new experience and very much enjoyed after Hawaiis warm days.
Jack and Barbara were warm, responsive, and clearly take pride in maintaining such a beautiful space.
This has definitely been one of our favourite PLU exchanges to date and Barbara & Jack made it so easy and welcoming for us we so highly recommend a visit to their wonderful part of the world.
Penguin is a lovely seaside town that can't be missed on a visit to Tasmania. It is perfectly located in the NW of the state for many sightseeing opportunities or attractions.
Lesley and Phil's home is absolutely gorgeous and perfectly positioned within Penguin to get the most of the stunning Penguin coastline with all day sun, expansive windows and a conservatory to soak up the sunshine. Or choose the open deck upstairs for fresh air and sensational views. The property isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an experience. You’ll breathe in the sea air, embrace the peace of coastal vistas, and enjoy a home that balances luxe finishes with warmth and community charm. We really wished we could have stayed longer.
Lesley and Phil have provided every comfort within their home. The communication and openness made it an easy exchange and we hope to exchange again in the future and explore more of what the North West of Tasmania has to offer.
Martha and Eugene's lovely home in Lake Cathie was really comfortable and convenient for my 8 night stay in May 2025. Loved the expansive kitchen with all the gadgets needed, and absolutely jealous of their beautifully designed main bathroom! The outdoor space is also great for enjoying the afternoon sunshine. The house has everything needed for a really relaxing holiday. A woolworths shopping centre, with cafes, eateries and the local Hotel is 100m walk away, so very convenient. No need to jump in the car and fight for car parks. The nearest beach is approx 250m walk away, perfect for a swim, surf, stroll or enjoy the lovely sunrises, if conditions are right. There are many great surf locations to choose from nearby or lakes and creeks for those wanting more sheltered waters to play in. The Port Macquarie Hastings to Manning region is great to explore with so many activities available.
Thankyou so much Martha and Eugene, it has been a fantastic holiday and base to explore your part of the mid north coast of NSW.
Thank you Ray. It was a pleasure to have you and we are glad you enjoyed your week. We are so looking forward to Bicheno next year!
Alicia and Justin have a fabulous home in Warrnambool. We absolutely loved how well appointed it was and the expansive kitchen with great high bench tops was so practical to use. The master bedroom we used had a super comfy bed and lovely modern ensuite. The outdoor area was great to unwind with the nice seabreezes after a day out exploring the area or spent at the nearby beaches. We also loved looking at Alicia & Justin's travel accoutrements from their worldwide travels.
Warrnambool is a great little city to stay at if wanting to explore The Great Ocean Road, Cape Otway or the Limestone Coast of South Australia. The city itself has lovely beaches, breakwalls and great scenic lookouts within 5 min drive of the house. It was the perfect location to base ourselves for our 8 night stay to explore this lovely part of Victoria and South Australia.
Thanks again Alicia & Justin for allowing us to use your home where we have had such a great relaxing holiday adventure.

I met Mark and Paddy briefly on arrival which was lovely to meet them in person. Mark and Paddy left our home in a tidy condition after their week long stay. Communicate was easy to organise the exchange. We are really glad you had a great stay on the sunny east coast of Tassie.
Thanks Ray. We really enjoyed our stay.
It was a pleasure having Barbara, Jack and their 4 guests stay at our Bicheno home. They left the house clean and well taken care of, which we truly appreciate.
Communication has been great right from the initial stages of organizing our exchanges and during the stay.
Upon their exit from our home, the group followed all instructions and left the home clean, tidy and organised. We would happily exchange with them again in the future and recommend Barbara & Jack for any future exchanges. We look forward to seeing their lovely home on the big Island of Hawaii in October!
Susan & Bryan are wonderful guests to exchange with. They are very considerate and left the property spotless, washed all bedding, towels and floor mats that they had used. Our communications were very easy and made for an organized stay. We have no hesitation in recommending Susan and Bryan for any future exchanges they wish to pursue. We very much hope to see their lovely place in Vancouver when we visit Canada in 2026. Thank you for taking such good care of our home.
It was a pleasure having Anke,Ye, Quinn and Zoe stay at our home. They left our home extremely clean and well taken care of, which we truly appreciate. Communication was great throughout our organization of the exchange. We really hope Anke & Ye found a special location in the area to celebrate a milestone birthday, and hoping that the day was well enjoyed! We highly recommend Anke, Ye & their family for any exchanges in the future.
Pauline & Matt with their travel companions Gill & Mike are wonderful guests to exchange with. They have kept our property clean, tidy and undamaged during their stay and washed all bedding, towels and mats that they used, returned keys and ensured the property was locked up secure on leaving. Thank you also for the delightful New Zealand gifts that they left as a surprise for us on our return.
Our communications were very responsive and made for an organized and enjoyable stay. We have no hesitation in recommending Pauline and Matt for any future exchanges they wish to undertake.
It was a pleasure having Tamara, James and family stay in Bicheno. Communication was great throughout, and they respected the home during their stay, leaving the home clean and tidy upon their exit and followed all instructions provided, We would happily exchange with them again in the future.
Mel & I recently stayed at Tamara and James home in Annerley, Brisbane, and overall, it was a fantastic base for our holiday to watch the Brisbane International Tennis tournament.
The property is conveniently located, just a short drive from the Brisbane CBD and Public transport options are nearby, making it easy to explore the city and surrounds. The neighborhood is safe, with convenient shopping, plenty of cafes and parks, all within walking distance.
The home was tidy upon arrival. The living areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms were well-maintained which made the stay very comfortable
The home was well-equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances, and the Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable. The outdoor area was perfect for BBQs, eating and relaxing and had a lovely leafy outlook
Tamara and James were incredibly welcoming and responsive to queries we had. They provided clear instructions for check-in and offered great tips on local attractions and amenities.
We highly recommend Tamara and James home in Annerley to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Brisbane.
Justin, Alicia and their family were lovely home exchange guests. They left our home tidy, communication was easy and respectful and made the entire home exchange process smooth and enjoyable.
We’re grateful for the care they showed to our home during their 10 day stay in Bicheno, Tasmania.
We recently stayed at Màire and Shane’s in Schull for 12 nights, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The location is perfect, nestled in the heart of the picturesque town of Schull with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean it's many islands and the surrounding countryside. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Communication was open and informative from before we arrived and again after we left.
We particularly loved how close we were to the many coastal walks, and the nearby beaches were absolutely beautiful. The area is a boaters paradise!
Màire and Shane’s home is the perfect base for exploring Schull and the surrounding area. Whether you're looking for outdoor adventures or a peaceful retreat, this place offers the best of both worlds.
Pros:
Amazing coastal location.
Clean, modern, and comfortable rooms.
Close to beaches and coastal walks.
Walking distance to shops, pubs and restaurants.
Close to all attractions in County Cork (Blarney Castle, Mizen Head, Ring of Beara, Ring of Kerry).
Markets held almost daily in summer at various local towns of Skibbereen, Bantry, Schull.
Cons:
None that we encountered!
Peter and Carey were the perfect guests at my home for the 2.5 weeks they stayed in Bicheno. Everything that they made use of was returned to its location and the house was left in an immaculate condition with no damage. All keys were returned to me. My car was handed back in exactly the same undamaged and clean condition with a full tank of fuel, as it was given to them for their Tasmanian exploration.
Peter and Carey are really experienced home exchanges. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to any future home exchanges they choose to make in the future.
Peter & Careys house in Algies Bay is approximately 1hr 20 min from Auckland along a fantastic motorway with Tolls. The home is located in a quiet cul de sac with lovely rural and bush outlook and close access to the bay. It’s a lovely clean and tidy modern home, very warm and intimate. Mel and I found it perfectly comfortable as a couple, but would easily suit a family or group. Everything we needed was available to make it a most enjoyable stay.
Peter and Carey provided prompt communications whenever we had a query about the exchange. The house instruction book was very clearly written, thorough and very informative and also provided many suggestions on things to do and see in the area.
Thanks so very much Peter and Carey for offering your lovely abode and the use of Veronica for easy exploration of Auckland and Northland NZ.
Veronica is just the best 2 berth campervan we have ever had the pleasure to use. It gave us so many options to explore Northland and reach Cape Reinga NZ. She is a fun bus to drive around all the windy roads and feels like driving a car, it handles so well. Loved reminiscing the manual gearbox experience. Veronica is very easy to multi day travel in.
Peter and Carey have created excellent videos and an instruction booklet on how best to use Veronica including her set up. Veronica has been well setup with all you could possibly need for 2 people to comfortably freedom camp, or holiday park camp.
Andrea & Eric are wonderful guests to exchange with. They are very considerate and left the property spotless, washed all bedding, towels and floor mats that they had used. Our communications were very easy and made for an organized stay. We have no hesitation in recommending Andrea and Eric for any future exchanges they wish to pursue.
Jennifer and her family were wonderful guests to stay in our home. They left the house in a very neat and tidy condition and communication between both parties was really easy. I would happily recommend Jennifer and family to any future hosts.
