Our Home is spacious with a large kitchen and dining area, three bedrooms and a bathroom in the ground floor. Upstairs we have the master bedroom with en suite bathroom and sauna. In the other end there is a large living room with a view to the forest. Sitting there playing a game, watching TV (with Crome Cast) or just enjoying afternoon tea or coffee while looking out into the forest is amazing. From the upstairs living room we also have access to a balcony with a lounge set for up to five people.
The house also has a garden with a dining table, open fireplace for cooking and a barbecue. We have to large umbrellas to make shades during the summer, and also it’s very relaxing to sit in the 8 person lounge furniture on the porch with a glass of wine or something else just enjoying the sun.
The space
The three down stairs bedrooms are children’s rooms. They all have beds suitable for adults.
The upstairs bedroom has a double bed (160 cm). Lastly, there is a sofa bed (140 cm) in the upstairs living room.
We have the possibility to put out more beds if necessary, but we only have 7 regular beds.
Guest access
The villa has a ground floor accessible by one step from the driveway, in which there is a plug-in for charging electric cars.
The first floor is reached by the staircase which has railing from the ground to the top.
The garden is accessible by going around the house or from the dining area. Through the house there is a step down to the terrace and garden.

Neighbourhood
Our neighbourhood is warm and welcoming. Within the small town we have a small shopping area with grocery stores, a pharmacy, convenience stores, bakery, butcher shop, clothing stores, second hand stores and fast food restaurants.
Just outside the garden is the forest, going halfway around the town, and also we have a 10 km marked route for hiking/biking.
From the nearest large road (500 m) there is bus access to Aarhus (10 km north) and Skanderborg (10 km south). Aarhus is the second largest city of Denmark with museums, musicals, movie theatre, shopping, cafes and all that a larger city offers.
2 km from the house we can reach the train station, from where trains can take us to Silkeborg with great hiking areas or Aarhus/Skanderborg from where fast train lines are available.

The easiest way to get here is by car. Our house is situated 1 km from the freeway (e45).
