General overview
The apartment is located in the sweet spot of downtown Budapest's posh side. A snug, fun-sized corner apartment in a quiet side street, a few minutes walk from the Buda Castle and the most important public transport hub of the Left Bank.
The space
The apartment is on the first floor of a brick building dating from the early 1900s, with thick walls that prevent the space from overheating.
The space is approximately 40 square meters or 430 square feet, with a separate bedroom, a bathroom with a bath, a larger living area with a sofa, a footrest, a work area by the corner windows, a folding dining table with two stools, and a well-equipped open kitchen.
The space is very comfortable and relaxing, overlooking a quiet, lush side street filled with birdsong all year round. The kitchen has a large and quiet refrigerator equipped with a freezer, an electric oven, a cooktop, a microwave, a blender, a dishwasher, pots, pans, and essentially every single thing one might need for cooking.
The separate bedroom has a comfortable double bed, reading lights, curtains on the windows, and shelves to put your bedside books on. The room is quite cool even when occupied by two people.
The bathroom has a bathtub that is just as suitable for a relaxing read as it is for two people, and the large windowsill is the perfect tray for a glass of wine and a couple of glasses.
The lounge area doubles as an office with stunning views, a rest area thanks to the comfortable sofa-footstool combo, for reading the morning paper or a quiet evening conversation (plus a widescreen TV hidden in one of the wardrobes), and the home's cooking and dining area, where everything from a fresh salad to a three-course meal can be prepared and enjoyed.
The apartment and adjoining hallway are filled with plants.
Guest access
The apartment is on the first floor of an apartment building, accessible by a gentle flight of stairs, situated at the end of a sunny corridor. The gate can be opened by a 4-digit code, while the apartment is locked with a security door (although the area is extremely safe).
Unfortunately, the space is not wheelchair accessible at the moment.

Neighbourhood
The neighborhood is one of the most buzzing areas of the 'posh' side of Budapest. Situated within a 10-minute walk away from Buda Castle, the area has a wealth of tourist attractions to visit, a myriad of smaller galleries, the National Gallery, the Castle Museum, several cinemas, countless restaurants (large and small, local and international, high-end and low-key), cafes, bars, a shopping mall, gyms, boulder clubs, two parks, thermal baths, swimming pools, libraries. There is very little that cannot be accessed with a short walk, and even that can be reached with a 10-15 minute bike ride or public transport trip.
The city center on the Pest side can be reached in 15 minutes by public transport.
Getting to my home
The apartment is within walking distance of Széll Kálmán Square, one of the main public transport hubs on the Buda side, where a vast number of buses, and trams stop, as well as the M2 metro line.
All three of the main train stations can be reached from the apartment within 20 minutes with a single metro or tram journey.
The airport is within a 40-minute driving distance.
The apartment has paid street parking.

Getting around
Within a 10 minute walk, there are a large number of supermarkets and hypermarkets, a semi-covered market (with both vendor stands and shops), organic and farmer's shops, delis, a seasonal farmer's market, and 24/7 shops are accessible, some with their own parking garage.
