Our home has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 2 living areas, an outdoor covered entertaining area and a large enclosed back yard. It’s a bright, clean and spacious house in the gorgeous seaside village of Port Fairy, 20 minutes past Warrnambool at the end of the Great Ocean Rd.
We are situated on the Moyne River surrounded by beautiful beaches with great surf, fishing, diving & coastal walks. The great Southern Right Whales are regular visitors to our waters in winter as are dolphins, seals and the occasional orcas. Port Fairy has plenty of heritage sites, is full of wonderful cafes & restaurants , a wide variety of boutique-style shops and has a myriad of natural attractions all within walking distance from our house.
Within 15 mins drive there is a Volcano crater that can be driven through or explored via the walking tracks. Here you can see koala's, kangaroos, echidnas and emu's in their natural habitat . A car and bikes can be available for the exchange where needed.

Hi everyone! We are new to PLU and are very excited about becoming part of this like minded community who value travel and are happy to exchange home bases with good will and an openess. We have had plenty of experience house and pet sitting and have a profile and references on the website Aussie Housesitters. We are keen travellers and would love the opportunity to exchange and offer our home as a base for like minded people. We are empty nesters with a new found freedom as our work structures in education & health have also changed allowing us a new flexibility to travel more.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
