Neighbourhood

Barranco is the bohemian neighborhood of Lima, it is closely linked to art. It has night shows, discos, art galleries and museums like the MAC, a contemporary art museum. It also has many renowned restaurants, gourmet food and typical food such as anticuchos and an itinerant farmer's market on Sundays. It has a beautiful boardwalk/boulevard that runs along the coast of the Pacific ocean and you may walk to LARCOMAR in Miraflores, which is a very beautiful tourist spot with very good restaurants and an excellent view to the ocean.

The airport is about 30 minutes to an hour depending on traffic

I am Viviana from Lima Peru. I am a 68 yo widow pretty athletic and active, I live by myself and I like oil painting. I have one daughter and two grandsons living in Italy. In Lima I own a beautiful apartment with a nice view to the park and a block away from the ocean boulevard in Barranco. Barranco is the artistic and bohemian district of Lima, it has many art galleries, cafe-galleries, murals on the street, pubs, excellent restaurants and many artists living in Barranco. It is next to the district of Miraflores within a ten minute walk to LARCOMAR, which is the prestigious park and Mall with the finest restaurants with our best gourmet chefs and boutiques in Miraflores surrounded by the Marriot hotel and other luxurious hotels is one of the favorite spot for tourists and locals. But it is available only when I travel, this year it is availble in July. I travel a lot to Europe as I visit my family mostly once a year. I speak Spanish English and Italian. It would be a great pleasure to meet you and your family.
