Marlene and Marty's home is truly incredible. It is a beautiful ranch set amongst orange groves with huge picture windows, a welcoming pool, a cinema room, fully lit pickle ball court and even a lake with ducks! The area is outstanding with Kings Canyon, Sequoia Forest and Yosemite National Patks within easy reach. We hiked and swam every day and slept so soundly at night in our comfy beds. Their daughter, Zandra, was a great source of local info and provided us with DELICIOUS orange juice and honey from their farm. We loved being able to follow trails and advice given by locals and enjoyed getting to know the family - a wonderful new PLU experience for us. Exeter offered relaxation, jaw dropping scenery and nature in abundance. Don't miss an opportunity to stay here - you will never regreat it. Thanks again!

Marlene and Marty have an amazing, dreamy property! We had the best time playing Pickleball with them until midnight, BBQing, and enjoying movies in the home theatre (it was awesome)! Chilling by the pond and munching on the juiciest oranges right from their trees was basically our everyday morning routine. The air’s filled with this sweet scent of citrus blossoms and the bird chirping created such a happy vibe! A huge shoutout to Matt (their son-in-law) and Zandra (their lovely daughter) for sharing their delicious honey products with us as a farewell treat. I don't think we can go back to store bought honey ever again!! We went on day trips exploring Sequoia (35 mins) and Yosemite (an hour+ drive away). If you’re thinking about visiting this part of California, you honestly couldn’t pick a better spot! We look forward to visiting them again, soon! Cheers! Ximei, Tejas, Parag and Kaps.

Marlene and Marty’s home is a beautiful oasis. The photos on their listing are beautiful but the in-person experience is STUNNING!! Their home, also known as “Lucky Dog Ranch” was our first exchange on PLU, all we can say is WOW!!!!! The outdoor areas are beautiful and quiet with a variety of plants, trees that are surrounded by citrus ranches. The interior of their home will leave you speechless. It is extremely clean and modern in a country setting. The views and amenities are amazing and wait till you see the theater in the basement. We spent a week visiting the area, including Sequoia, Kings Canyon and Yosemite National Parks. We also spent an evening exploring the small town of Exeter (3 miles away). Exeter has beautiful murals and several eateries and breweries with a small town charm. The parks were absolutely amazing but we do regret that we didn’t allow more time at their home and outdoor area (It’s a park in itself!). If you enjoy walks, and country quiet, this is your place. A fully equipped and professionally designed pickle ball court with lights is an added experience. The pool and outdoor BBQ areas are first class and all with amazing views. It was beautiful to watch Canadian geese fly in and out of the pond which the home overlooks with floor to ceiling windows. If this stay is a sample of our future experiences with PLU, we can’t wait!
