General Overview

Welcome to our cozy and light-filled condo perched right above Newport’s historic bayfront. Located in a ten-unit building directly across from the commercial fishing marina, we enjoy sweeping, unobstructed views of the Yaquina Bay Bridge and up the bay itself—it’s the same postcard-perfect view featured on the tourist billboard along I-5. One of our favorite things to do is sit on the deck with a cup of coffee or glass of wine, soaking up the sun and watching the boats come and go as the sea lions bark along the seawall. It’s a magical place, and we love sharing it.

The Space

Our two-bedroom, two-bath unit is set up for comfort and flexibility. The primary bedroom has a king bed and ensuite bath. The second bedroom features a king Murphy bed with an attached desk, ideal for remote work when the bed is stowed. The second full bath includes a tub and is shared with the main living area. We also have a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room for additional guests. Additional features include: • Reserved, covered parking for one vehicle (plus space for a second car out front) • South-facing deck that’s sheltered from Newport’s typical coastal winds • Prime sea lion-watching right from the living room or deck

Neighbourhood

Step outside and you’re just a minute’s stroll from the local shops, galleries, and seafood restaurants that line this end of the bayfront. If you’re up for a longer walk, you can reach the ocean beach in about 20 minutes via a scenic path that takes you past the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. Or wander 20 minutes the other direction and find yourself in the popular Nye Beach neighborhood with its cafes, boutiques, and live music venues. We’re also a short walk uphill to the Newport Recreation Center, which has a fully equipped fitness center, indoor track, pickleball and basketball courts, plus multiple indoor pools and a lazy river—great for families or rainy-day fun.
