Kristín

We are Kristín and Magnús, a social educator and a cameramand, from Reykjavík, Iceland. On the photo with us is our daughter, Jana Katrín, who will every now and then travel with us. We are retired and we are looking forward to have more time to travel abroad and stay for a longer period of time. By doing an house exchange we get a valuable opportunity to get to know the locals, experience different cultures and places that we otherwise would never have experienced. We are non-smokers and we know how valuable your home is to you like our home is for us so we will treat your property as if it were ours. Our comfortable apartment has a very good location within 20 min. walk to the center of Reykjavík. It is on the 2nd floor (no elevator) in a quiet building, with nice neighbours. The apartment is 100 sqm with a cosy living room, one big bedroom (bed: 160x200) and another room (work space) where it is possible to put an air mattress for kids. Living room, fully equipped kitchen and a laundry in the basement. For 2026 we would love til find a home exchange in Copenhagen or the surrounding area either for a short or a longer stay. We are open to any destination, short or long term and are looking forward to hearing from you.
