General overview

Light filled townhouse, an end unit in a small gated grouping of townhomes in a quaint neighborhood of historic New Westminster BC., close to Westminster Quay and Queens park, and a short walk to the skytrain for quick access to downtown Vancouver or the airport.

The space

My home has been described as charming, with a cozy and eclectic designer feel to it. It is easy care, with vinyl floors in the main areas, and berber carpet in the bedrooms. A gas fireplace throws lots if heat in the winter, and there is a spacious deck for enjoying a morning coffee during the warm summer months, or kicking your feet up and relaxing at the end of the day.

Guest access

there are 3 floors, the entrance with den and laundry, the main floor with living/dining area as well as kitchen/family room/powder room. The upper floor has 2 bedrooms and two full bathrooms, one is the ensuite for the master bedroom.

Notes

I have two dogs, and would love to exchange with someone who also has pets and would like them cared for. I love animals, dogs...cats etc. I also have a green thumb and I am good with houseplants and gardens.

Neighbourhood

New Westminster has been described as a bedroom community to Vancouver...it is very family and pet friendly. There is a corner store a half block away for last minute needs, and a full grocery store and liquor store within a 10 minute walk. The skytrain is also a 10 minute walk and will take you to and from the airport as well as back and forth to Vancouver. Queens Park is a 10 minute walk (I'm very central, can I say), as well as the Westminster Quay and Columbia St. Numerous restaurants of every kind are close by as well.

Getting to my home

You can take the Canada Line from the airport and link up with the skytrain to New Westminster. From there it is a 10 minute walk or a quick Uber ride. If you choose to drive or take a cab from the airport, it is about a 20 minute drive if there is limited traffic.
