General overview
Kia ora from Aotearoa, New Zealand!
We have a small two-bedroom home, five minute walk to a child-friendly surf beach with hills directly behind us for mountain biking and hiking. Our house is warm, cosy and sun-filled. We often sit outside in the summer nights, looking at the sunset drinking a glass of vino or cup of tea.
The village is a ten minute walk from our home where you can enjoy a coffee in one of the many good cafes, watch a film at the cinema or dine at one of the many international restaurants. There also is a horse riding paddock at the back of the walkable village, a beautiful library, a epic new skate park for the kids and adults, and coastal walks over the hill to Taylors Mistake ( another great surfing beach).
The ski fields are a 75 min drive from our village .
The space
Our home gets a lot of sun, so its warm and cosy. We hope you feel as cosy and relaxed in this space as we do. The kids room sleeps 3 kids on the bunk bed, and our room has a King bed. The bathroom has a shower/ bath and the toilet is separate.

Neighbourhood
It's a cool, little surf village, that's friendly, safe and many amazing things to do right from our front door. Coastal walks, mountain biking... you can even walk from our home to a camping spot that overlooks Lytellton Harbour. We have tents you may be able to borrow.
There is also a yoga centre, hair dressers, and beauty salons within walking distance. There is also a school community pool open in summer months a couple of mins walk from our home.
Nearest airport
40 min drive to CHCH airport.
Getting around
There is a bus stop right outside our home that takes you to the city and airport. Other than that, everything is at your feet. We may be able to lend you our car which is a 4WD subaru outback.
