General overview

I love so many things about our home but my favorite is the recently remodeled chefs kitchen that leads out to a beautiful covered patio to enjoy the near year round weather that Charlotte is known for in an extremely walk-able neighborhood with the best little restaurants and breweries.

The space

Our house is centered around the huge kitchen with 2 bedrooms on either side with their own bathroom and the upstairs is one larger bedroom and bath along with an office. Off the kitchen is the dining and living room with huge TV and wrap around couch perfect for movie nights! on the back side of the kitchen is a walk out covered patio with ceiling fan surrounded by gardens. Our neighborhood is popular for walking, bike riding and is flanked by 2 of Charlottes well known art districts with restaurants and breweries. the is a super sweet family park one block from the house that has basketball courts, tennis, ping-pong, baseball and two playgrounds the parks host many community events! There is even a Beautiful wedding venue The Vanlandingham Estate just 2 blocks down the road.

Guest access

The main floor holds 2 bedrooms and 2 bath rooms as well as the kitchen and dining. the living room is sunk down with 2 easy steps and the back patio is also just 2 steps down creating relatively very easy access even for physical handicaps. Only one flight of stairs up is the master bedroom, bathroom and office.

Notes

We have three indoor/ outdoor rescue kitties. When are staying at our house we encourage you to keep them in the house for a day or two until they get used to you before letting them out. And when you do, let them out, we encourage you to get them in in the early afternoon so you don’t have to worry about them at night time. This is something that can be discussed and explained in more detail if you choose to stay at our house! Cats do need to be fed on a daily basis and you’ll need to make sure they have water at all times. There is a litter box tucked under the stairs that will need to be poop scooped occasionally as well.

Neighbourhood

Our neighborhood is extremely walkable and there’s a lot of rollerblade groups, bicycle groups, joggers, and walkers that pass in front of our house daily. There is a beautiful community park just a half a block away with lots of room for children to explore along with a small community garden, tennis courts , basketball court, and even a small amphitheater that does movie nights every once in a while! Just SOME of our favorites within a 20 -30 minute walk from our house- however there is a free golf cart shuttle is you prefer! Getting to my home

our home is about 2 1/2 miles from Charlotte's city center with several large highways making it easily accessible as well as the HUGE international airport that is 8 miles (18 minute drive)

Getting around

Walk 20 to 30 minutes in almost any direction out our front door and you will find a grocery, brewery and restaurants! If walking is not an option there is a free Golf cart shuttle just text ride jaunt (they do ask kindly for an optional tip if you enjoyed not walking!) Or use Uber, or lyft!
