Neighbourhood

The neighbourhood is wild, beautiful, and quite rural. We have many fabulous local friends who are likeminded and would love to make your acquaintance or offer help with anything if you wish. There is a sensational local dairy that sells fresh milk and locally made cheeses, bacon and other local produce. The main town of Huonville is approx 15 mins drive away. You’ll find a couple of supermarkets and any other amenities you need. We are approx 4 km along a well graded dirt road. There are many beautiful natural attractions, mountains to climb, National Parks and local villages to explore.

Getting to my home

You will most likely need a car if it is longer than a one week exchange. Or we can arrange a pick up from the Hobart airport or from Huonville if you catch a bus. We only have one car, but you are welcome to borrow it for day drips.

Nearest airport

Fly into Hobart airport. The house is situated 1hrs drive South. We are more than happy to arrange a pick up from the airport or there is a bus from Hobart to Huonville.
