General Overview

This special space is a fully self contained, private Suite. Pics of bathroom renovation coming soon 😁 You will have everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Enjoy walking around and exploring our beautiful 15 acre property, or many other walks in the area. The Snowy Range views are spectacular and the Huon River begs for you to take a dip, or just relax around the outside fire pit area.

The Space

You will have 2 decent sized two bedrooms. One can be used as a living room if only a couple are staying. Separate Kitchenette/laundry/dining room...this is a little cosy, however perfectly adequate for four people to squeeze into.. Your own newly renovated bathroom and toilet for your own private use.

Guest Access

Park your car and walk 5 steps to your own private entrance. All rooms are on the same level, which is the upstairs section of our split level home.

Notes

The Suite can be opened up to the rest of our house if we are away, otherwise it is totally private and all yours for your stay. Check out our main listing #14451

Neighbourhood

You have enjoy beautiful tranquil surrounds on the edge World heritage South West national park. You will need a car to get around. Huonville is 15mins by car. There a many great places to eat and sights to see around in Huonville and other local villages .

Getting to my home

Hobart city is 45 mins drive. Hobart airport is 55 mins by car. If driving from mainland Australia you can catch the Spirit of Tasmania ferry from Geelong, Victoria to Devonport, Tasmania.......then a 3.5hr scenic drive to here.

Ali and Paul

Paul and I are in our 60s and young at heart. In 2018 we made the move from Brisbane, Queensland, to Tasmania for a much loved tree change. We’re recently back home in beautiful Tasmania after an unforgettable year away (2025) on our PLU adventure, travelling through the UK and Europe. As we were both born in the UK (me in Cornwall and Paul in London), reconnecting with our roots was amazing. We’d love to welcome you to our home for hospitality, simultaneous or non-simultaneous exchanges, or non-reciprocal stays. We’re always happy to accept Globes 😃 Our home has three listings, all within the main house. The whole home can be booked, or the Studio and Guest Wing can be used separately via internal locked doors, each with its own private entrance. Lots of flexibility options. We enjoy sharing our home and meeting new people. We also run our own Airbnb and have stayed in many ourselves, always with 5-star reviews on both sides. Hosting comes naturally to us. Now that our renovations are complete, we’re looking forward to slowing down a little, enjoying everything Tasmania has to offer, and continuing our PLU experience. We’d be excited to hear from you.
