General overview

Agencourt is a small village located in Burgundy in the immediate vicinity of Nuits Saint Georges, in the heart of the Burgundy vineyard. Between cultural walks, wine tastings and local gastronomy, the whole family will find what they are looking for. https://www.gevreynuitstourisme.com/accueil

The space

It is a new house (2016) on one level with a courtyard and an enclosed garden. There are 3 bedrooms (1 master bedroom with dressing room and 2 children's bedrooms (1 girl and 1 boy) with a multitude of toys that we leave at your disposal!!! 1 large bathroom (it takes 4 of us) with bath, walk-in shower and double washbasin unit. The toilets are separate. 1 large living room of 60 m2, with completely open fully equipped kitchen. 1 office and a laundry room equipped with a washing machine (which we obviously leave available). 1 garage in which you will find bicycles (adults and children). In the garden you will find a swing and a wooden hut for children, as well as garden furniture to take advantage of the south-facing orientation of the terrace. You will live with our 2 adorable cats, very cuddly and also very often outside who unfortunately cannot be part of our trip!

Notes

We are equipped for 1 baby (high chair, cot, changing table, bottle warmer, stroller...). We can provide you with 2 car seats (0/18 kg and 3/12 years). We have an extra mattress if needed to put on the floor in one of the children's bedrooms.

Neighbourhood

Family neighborhood with 7 houses located in a dead end where children and mothers meet regularly to play and chat! Calm and quiet place. Access to amenities is very easy. Restaurant in the village = very friendly welcome. Bakery, supermarket and health center nearby with the possibility of going there by bike (2 or 3 kilometers). Other amenities (pharmacy, grocery store, tourist office...) are 5 minutes by car (20 minutes on foot) from the house.

Getting around

Station at Nuits Saint Georges (5 kilometres) serving BEAUNE and DIJON very easily. Motorway entrance 3 kilometers away. No city bus in the village.

Hello, we are a small family of 4. A 3-year-old boy, a 7-year-old girl and the two of us (soon to be 35!!!). I am a teacher in the printing industry and my husband is in the process of retraining (he is a baker, hmmm). We now want to make our little family travel around the world as soon as the opportunity arises... to give our children a taste for discovery. We have never done any great travels and have never exchanged our house....it will be a new experience. We are open to all destinations with a preference for Canada (Toronto/Montreal/Quebec) for summer 2021. We are happy in our home and we will take care of yours as if it were our own.
