General overview

This apartment is a beautifully maintained old building from 1904 and is at the heart of Montreal's Old Port neighbourhood. You will be a few minutes from the waterfront, a few steps from the metro stop, and have a lovely view of the city. The apartment is small -- it can fit up to 3 people (if one person sleeps on the couch/air mattress).

The space

This is a loft-style studio, it's all in one room but the spaces (working, sleeping, living) are well-divided. The kitchen and the bathroom are small and functional. Thanks to high ceilings and huge windows, there is a lot of light throughout the day and the air flows nicely (but because it's an old building with harmonica windows there is no AC).

Guest access

Stairs and elevator access.

Gloria

Hello, my name is Gloria, I am a postdoc based in Montreal. My job gives me quite a bit of flexibility for remote work so I am hoping to break out of my bubble. I speak five languages and get along with pets of all kinds. I'm open to simultaneous and non-simultaneous exchanges, especially for September. Preferred locations include Western and Southern Europe, Mexico, and East Africa.
