General Overview
My Eco chalet has been built locally with Douglas Fir to the highest standards . Designed to make the most of the beautiful light in this part of Northern Scotland. Deer and rabbits are often seen from inside, seals are a daily occurrence in Findhorn bay, and dolphins are occasionally seen off the coast, a 2 minute walk away. The northern lights can also be seen when they appear.
A 3 minute walk from the extremely popular Findhorn Bakehouse and 5 minute walk from two popular pubs in the village, 15 minutes walk from the captains table bar/cafe
It's Eco, designed as an open space to capture sun rising and setting. We have named the lodge ‘Slow and Easy’ which reflects the peace and calm of staying there.
See the seals. It's 2 minutes walk from one of the worlds most beautiful beaches and bay ( voted by National Geographic )
Ideal for world renowned Findhorn Foundation (Spiritual Community, Learning Centre, Ecovillage- 15 minute walk )
The Space
Summer brings long days, amazing light , spectacular sunsets.
It's a warm and cosy place to be outside of summer too. There is a modern wood burning stove making for cosy evenings should you wish to stay in winter.
50 square meters of light and warm living in one of the most beautiful locations.
It’s open plan design to take advantage of the beautiful light in this part of the world. There is a double bedroom ‘separated’ from the living space by a half wall. There is a an additional sofa bed in the living space that can be used .
There is a ‘Jack and Jill” bathroom , to ensure privacy.
