General Overview

Dollywood, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, the Smoky Mountains, all within an hour and best of all, Knoxville itself, which has/is becoming a hub of things to do!

The Space

This home has been a labor of love and commitment over the past few years. Secure, private; wonderful neighbors and in a great location. My home is a completely remodeled split level with high quality LVP throughout. There are three bedrooms and two and a half baths, the half bath/laundry on the bottom (garage) level I'm using as the game room and a wonderfully cozy space with a full bed with a thick mattress topper for a completely private fourth bedroom. A blow up queen size mattress with sheets is also stored in the closet to easily sleep 10 in total. A powerful mini split was installed Aug '25 to make for comfort year-round! New Pella sliding glass doors to get to the huge shaded concrete patio with a gentle hanging cushioned swing, a porch style swing, four swivel rocking chairs, and a relaxing, colorful, ultra comfortable Yellowtree hammock. A glass door fridge/cooler will keep your drinks nice and cold. Plenty of outdoor games with ladder golf, tiki toss, cornhole, ring toss, and a giant Connect 4, and a badminton/volleyball net (garage) that takes minutes to set up. Sit at the new propane fire pit table with hot lava rocks on chilly nights with a warm drink. Pit Boss pellet grill is located on the upper deck; I use the sunroom floor outlets to power it. *Recently added as of March 2023 is a cocktail pool, 8' round and 2' deep with a sand filter. Perfect to float and cool off in, safe and fun for kids of almost any age to play!* I've turned my backyard into a mini resort, spending hours out there every day. As of summer 2023, a small smart TV is up from spring through fall, making for an entertainment haven. Feel free to help yourself to huge blackberries from the bush I planted in spring '23; they're sweet and delicious and produce an abundance of fruit twice a year. Solar lights surround you at night, adding to the tropical feel. Beautiful .4 acre yard, the back completely fenced in, perfectly flat and nicely landscaped with a large garden area full of flowers. On the main level of the house, open concept kitchen with granite counters and newly painted, sparkling white cabinets. All the typical gadgets and gizmos, plus a Sonic-esque ice maker that's great for parties; who doesn't love the soft ice! Spacious master bedroom with en suite, along with two other bedrooms that share a hall bath; both baths have a large walk-in shower. Connecting to the dining room is an all-glass sunroom. It has its own mini split AC system installed as of September 2022; it heats and cools to whatever it's set to, getting to your preferred temp in minutes. The sunroom leads to the deck with an outdoor couch, chairs, and large umbrella, with virtually complete privacy looking over the lush backyard. Play some old school games on my new retro console system as well with NES/SNES/Sega; it's such a fun trip back in time! I have Sonic 1 and 2 along with Super Mario 1, 3, and Super Mario World. Slowly adding to my collection. Game room consists of smart TV, Pac-Man Arcade1Up 12 in 1 machine with a ton of fun 1980s games, an electronic Sharper Image putting mat, light up dartboard, and PlayStation 2 with dozens of options provided to try your hand at, plus a mini fridge. Master bed has a king firm Beautyrest mattress; the kids'/work room has a twin over full bunk set with 8 inch gel mattresses on each. Smaller guest room has a twin sized bed with 10" gel mattress. All rooms have a smart TV. 99% blackout curtains are in the master and main guest room for a restful night's sleep. I am pet-friendly, even cats would be welcome, so long as they're litter box trained. For dogs, I have a kiddie pool and a hose for the hot days, and mine loved the sunroom in the cooler months with the sun beating in. Plenty of treats and toys as well. I also work from home, which means I have really fast internet, with a nice desk and ability to connect directly to the net. *Smoking is okay, but only outside.* **Major holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas will be considered by written request only, as I depend heavily on others during that time!** ***There is a tiered cleaning fee for Globe exchanges. $50 for two people, $75 for three to four, and $115 for five or more.*** I have some outdoor Blink cameras: doorbell, front gate, and on my backyard fence. I turn all notifications off while I have guests and do not check them, but they are active. There is also an indoor doggie cam on the living room window table, please feel free to turn that off if I forget to.

Neighbourhood

Walking and bike friendly, great for exercise and very quiet. I'm on a cul-de-sac, which reduces car and people noise.

Getting to my home

TYS airport is about 30 minutes away. I'm very central to many southeastern/midwestern states, using interstates 40, 75, 275, and 81.

Nearest airport

McGhee Tyson is our main airport.

Getting Around

You'll need a car to get most places, but for recreational purposes, I have very nice roads in my neighborhood and several parks within a few miles for exercise and strolling/biking.
