General overview
Our newly renovated home on 3 acres is down a quiet country lane in a (very) rural hamlet in Kent between the seaside town of Deal and the Port of Dover – 4 bedrooms with fantastic views of the rolling hills and the English Channel beyond.
The space
The property has been renovated from top to bottom and has a new, modern cook's kitchen with double ovens, American-style fridge/freezer, walk-in pantry and all the equipment you could need. The kitchen has a huge wall-to-wall sliding door that opens out to the wraparound decking, and another sliding door that opens to a covered patio with amazing views of the countryside and sea in the distance.
The formal dining room can seat up to 10 (12 if you borrow chairs from another room), and the kitchen has a large breakfast bar that seats up to 6.
The formal lounge has a woodburning stove, two 4-person sofas, and a multi-games table with pool, air hockey and ping-pong. Next to the formal lounge is the TV room with a large, comfy leather sofa and 65" TV (Netflix, Prime, Disney+).
There are 4 bedrooms: the master suite has a super-king bed, walk-in wardrobe, ensuite shower room with double sinks, and its own patio with hot tub. There are 3 additional bedrooms and a family bathroom with shower/tub – all three bedrooms have single beds, wardrobes, toys (Lego, books, etc), and desks.
There's also a good sized utility room with washing machine, dryer and utility sink.
We have super-fast Starlink WiFi, Netflix, Prime, Disney+, plus cupboards full of boardgames for when you're not out exploring.
The garden is huge - about 1.5 acres in the back and another 1+ acre in the front.
