General Overview

This house is conveniently located close to the city, the sea and Malmo. Enjoy the calmness and tranquility of our old Limhamn townhouse, on one of the pretties streets in town or get on a bus into the buzzing city centre. A 20 minute walk will take you to both Malmo beaches, where you can enjoy some traditional Swedish winter bathing (sauna + skinny dipping) if you find the Swedish waters to cold for a swim without heating up properly before. Limhamn is a part of Malmö but also offers its own small centre with several nice cafes, restaurants and shops for your necessities (such as wine). It’s half a hour from Copenhagen by car, an hour by public transport, and also close to other nice places, such as Lund and Österlen.

The Space

The house sleeps up to eight people, in one double bed, one 160 cm bed, one bunk bed and one sofa bed, it has two gardens, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, and a good playroom if you happen to be bringing kids.

Getting to my home

Very accessible by train (15 minutes by bus to the train station), car and if you take I flight to Copenhagen airport it s only 30 minutes by car or one hour by public transportation. We have our own parkin lot and there is a charger for EV.

Getting Around

Bus stop only five minutes from the house and by bike, you can borrow ours, you can easy get around. If you have ha car all of Skane and the Copenhagen area i easily accessible

  • We have just come home from an amazing swap with Hannes and Milan. Their home catered perfectly for our children to play, for us to relax and for us to explore the great local area. We spent time in Copenhagen, exploring Skåne, a Viking museum, Sweden’s southernmost point and the Island of Ven - but the highlight of the trip has to be exploring right from our doorstep. Limhamn and Malmö were extremely family friendly. We used bikes that Hannes and Malin had left for us to explore Sibbarps and Ribbans beaches and the local marina (and lots of places for fika!). Highly recommend.

Hannes

A family of four. Two kids 5 and 7 and we (mostly the parents) all love to travel. Hannes is working as a in house layer and Malin is working in communications. After that we have been doing a few house exchanges with family and friends we now know that we love the concept and want to go explore. We are open to anything and love to go to new places We did our first exchange to France in the summer of 2024 and loved it.
