General overview
We have a 33 foot Minnie Winnie in San Diego California. We have driven it cross country twice with three kids. The RV fits up to 10 (2 families with small kids) but 1 family comfortably. There are many beautiful places to visit with an RV include the desert, beach and mountains all within an hours distance driving. There are also many national parks within 5-10 hours driving from our home. Famous local beaches include Doheny, San Onofre, Silver Strand and San Elijo. The desert includes Anza Borrego (2 hours) and Joshua Tree National Park (3 hours away). Julian is an hour away and there are many beautiful campgrounds in the mountains there. The Channel islands NP is 4 hours away, Pinnacles NP is 8 hours away, Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks are 8 hours away. Check out the National Park website, as well as San Diego County and California Reserve for possible options.
The space
There is one back bedroom, a shower, bathroom, a living area with a table and a booth, a sofa bed and a large bed over the drivers seat. There is also a side out which makes the motorhome seem much larger.
Guest access
The motor home is a Class C and can be driven with a regular drivers license. We are only open to exchanges with families who have owned motor homes as driving, operating and living in a 33 foot motor home can be quite a challenge and experience for those not used to it. We love our motorhome and living the Rv Life but it’s not for everyone!
