Neighbourhood

We are in a quiet neighborhood. Many years ago this area was all orchards. Our house is one of the original in the street and when built the orchard was still active, as I understand. We are approximately 5kms from the centre of the city. Albury is a fast growing area with new development and many families/couples moving from the cities for a "Tree Change" and to work remotely.

Nearest airport

Albury is the closest airport 8 mins drive/taxi. Car rental pick up at the airport if you choose or in town. Melbourne city and airport 40 mins flight or 3 1/2 hours drive. Canberra city and airport 1h 10mins flight or3 hours drive. Sydney is a 6 hour drive or a 1h 40min flight

Getting Around

Ideally you would need a car. Rentals are available at the airport or in town. 5 minutes drive to the nearest supermarket/local shops. 15 mins walk 10-15 mins drive to the centre of the town. Bus service is available.
