General overview

We love the drive in to our home, its an easy drive up 285 but once you turn onto our road you feel like you are secluded in the mountains. Our home is spacious, we have 4 bedrooms with an additional living space in the basement. Suitable for young children, as we just had our first. We also love our backyard space. It is private and peaceful.

The space

We have 4 bedrooms in our home 1. Primary with attached bathroom 2. Queen bed 3. Twin bed/ Office 4. Nursery We also have a living space in our basement that has another queen bed and we have a queen blow up mattress you are free to use!

Notes

Note that most homes in the mountains don't have A/C. We keep our windows open in the summer and have a portable AC unit for those warmer days in August.

We live down a dead end dirt road so there in minimal traffic. -There are tons of local hiking, fishing and other outdoor activities. -Closest skiing is Breckenridge which is about an hour and 15 minutes away -35 minutes to red rocks ampitheater -50 minutes to downtown denver

Nearest airport

Denver International Airport is an hour and 15 minutes away.

Getting around

You will need a car to get around! Most things are spead out in the mountains and there is no public transportation or uber/ride share available.

Taylor

My husband and I love to adventure, hike and cook in our free time! We have a 5 year old dog and a newborn baby boy! Alec is an engineer with a fairly flexible schedule and Taylor works part time as a pediatric RN. Our dog goes to his "grandparents" house while we travel or have people stay in our home.
