General Overview

We have a comfortable three bedroom 2 1/2 bath home that sits on 5 acres in a country setting. We can accommodate sleeping for six people maybe more depending on need. We have a large deck and yard area that offers beautiful views of the mountains, nice privacy and room to roam. We are centrally located about 5 minutes to the town of Columbia Falls, 20 minutes to Glacier Park, 20 minutes to Glacier International Airport and 20 minutes to the hip and tourist towns of Whitefish and Bigfork. There are several food establishments, grocery stores and breweries a short drive away.

The Space

Just a few short steps up our porch to our mainfloor you will find a nice size kitchen, family room, powder room, laundry closet as well as a master bedroom (King Bed) and full bath. Upstairs includes a guest room (Queen Bed) sleeping loft (Queen Bed) and a full bathroom. The 2nd guest bedroom will be unavailable to guests for now as our youngest is still living at home with us. The driveway is large and has plenty of parking. The separate garage is where we operate our home business and would not be accessible. We have nearly 2 acres of landscaped grounds great for throwing the Frisbee, lawn games or just relaxing after a long day.

Neighbourhood

Our neighborhood consists of a quiet dead end gravel road with homes on 5 acre parcels. It is about 1/4 mile from Hwy 206 and in a quiet setting overlooking our beautiful mountains. We live in a small community with several local eateries, a brewery and two large grocery stores. We are a short 20 minute drive to the nearby tourist towns of Whitefish and Bigfork as well as Flathead Lake which is the largest freshwater lake west of the MIssissippi. We are about 20 minutes from Kalispell, the hub of Flathead Valley. There you will find a Costco and other box stores for your convenience. There is good skiing in the winter at Whitefish Mountain resort and endless hiking and biking in the spring and summer months.

Getting to my home

We live approximately 20 minutes from Glacier International Airport. We are blessed to have two National Parks in our beautiful state so one could plan to see Yellowstone National Park as well if you had the time.

Hello People Like us! We are a family of five living in the NW corner of Montana near Glacier National Park. We have two grown children in college and one that is a senior preparing to attend college this coming fall. My husband and I own Schafer Silvertip Custom Bows, manufacturer of custom high end hunting bows. We have been blessed to be doing this for almost 30 years. We are an active family that enjoys sports and the outdoors. My husband and my kids are avid hunters and we all enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, rafting and enjoying the abundant beauty of our surroundings. We are almost empty nesters and looking forward to doing a bit more travel in the coming years. We love to entertain and host friends and family in our home and would love to extend that to others in this group.
