General Overview

Welcome to our cosy and modern apartment, ideal for exploring Andorra, going on hikes or hitting the slopes to ski and snowboard in winter!

The Space

Our apartment of 110m2 is on the ground floor with access to a 40m2 garden that looks out into the mountains and the river behind the house. We have two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, one of them ensuite. The main bedroom has a large 180cm bed, and there is another 80cm bed in the second bedroom that can be pulled out to be made into a 160cm double bed. We also have a very comfortable couch that could host another person and a blow-up double mattress which would be able to accommodate an additional 2. So 4 people can stay comfortably and 6-7 if you don't mind squeezing up a bit. We both work from home so have high-speed internet and a standing desk with external monitor. The house is the first "minergie" house in Andorra, built to the newest eco-guidelines and energy standard (e.g. 60% of our energy consumption is covered by the buildings solar panels!).

Notes

Please do not contact us for stays under 7 days if you're not offering to reciprocal exchange your home in a larger European city (we can always quickly go to Toulouse or Barcelona). Due to the number of requests we get, especially for the winter months, we have to prioritize long stays. For reciprocal exchanges around the world, we're especially interested in longer term exchanges (1 month and more), but we don't really mind where exactly we go :-) House rules: We charge a 80EUR cleaning fee. No smoking anywhere in the apartment, no pets and no shoes in the house please.

Neighbourhood

We live in Ordino, a small village in the Pyrenees, that still has everything you need (supermarket, butcher, cafes, restaurants, bakery, pharmacy and hairdresser all within 5min walk). A gym with pool and spa is 2min away, literally in front of our door. The village is incredibly cute with its old stone houses and cobble streets! In winter, the ski slopes are very close - 10min by bus is the closest, another great one is also only 20min by car away. Right behind our apartment are the mountains, fields and a stream that you can hear from the garden when you sit outside in summer days. The bus stop is 5min walk away and a bus comes every 20min to take you to Andorra la Vella, la Massana or wherever else you need to go.
