The apartment is a secondary residence - located at  PRAIA DO PEDRÓGÃO, COIMBRÃO, Leiria, Portugal.
This beach is huge. Beautiful rough waves in Winter. Pedrógão is a fishing village, a very typical one! 
Nice relaxing place and suitable for long walks - by the sea or not. Do you like hiking? Enjoy here!
The surroundings are rich in monuments, museums and many other beaches. There are minimarkets (one in the very building ), but we usually go shopping a few kms away 
( next village) where there are bigger supermarkets and our grandchildren forget the beach for a longer break.
However Vieira de Leiria is 6 km far and Marinha Grande about 20... so... you' ll need a car. 
Lisbon /airport is a car Ride of about 135 km - over 1 hour driving .

The Space

The space is pleasant. A large room - living and dining room, kitchen, 1 bathroom with bathtub, two bedrooms with double beds (as shown in the photos) and fitted wardrobes. The hall is spacious and there is a large terrace with Barbecue. There is also 1 tank, where you can wash clothes, as there are no washing/drying machines in the apartment.

Guest Access

Access is simple.
You only need to climb 3 or more steps. The apartment is less than 2 minutes from the beach. On foot!. From the terrace and living room you can see the sea.

Notes

We don't have bicycles.
The sea is not calm.
We've been spending a lot of our time here for 20 years - as have our children and now our grandchildren! _ and we love it.

Neighbourhood

Very quiet in the locality!
Monuments, beaches, landscapes, cities, towns... in the vicinity.

Getting Around

Here, in Pedrógão, a car is recommended.
Vieira de Leiria, where there are Supermarkets and LAUNDRY (8€ for 18kg of clothes!) is about 6KM away.
Lisbon/airport... 150kms.
