Neighbourhood
The house is 2.5 miles from the centre of the town and so only a short car journey. Guildford and Winchester are also not far and both as historic centres.
The whole area is part of the beautiful Surrey Hills and the south of Farnham is surrounded by beautiful woodlands and perfect for walking.
Farnham is a very arty town and the pottery is only 5 minutes up the road. There is a train to London every half hour and this takes 55 minutes to Waterloo Station.
Famous Neolithic Stonehenge is one hour away and the coast is One and a half hours away.

Christin and Richard are a lovely and welcoming couple. When we arrived at their home, they were still there, so we had the chance to meet and get to know them, and we arranged to spend our last evening together. Their house is new, spacious, and comfortable, filled with Christin’s beautiful artworks. They are generous hosts, and we lacked nothing. Our last evening was especially enjoyable—it began with a shared dinner we prepared together in their warm and spacious kitchen and ended at the local pub over a glass of beer. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Christine and Richard were incredible hosts for our 3 week stay in their lovely home in Farnham, and even made sure we had food to eat in the fridge after our long flight from California. And fresh milk and eggs from the farm delivered every week.
Theirs is a beautiful home and garden, filled with Christine's personal artwork, and situated in a quiet residential neighborhood with easy access to the town, stores, and restaurants. And only an hour from London by train. The location is not far from notable national treasures such as Windsor Castle, Winchester Cathedral, Petworth House. We highly recommend their property.
We enjoyed having Christine and Richard at The Blue Daisy House. They were wonderful guests who took excellent care of everything. We hope they will come back one day as guests or neighbors :)
Perfect guests who took great care of our home as if it was their own, and made sure it was the same way we left it. The only additions to our house were two small paintings of flowers that Christine made from flowers in our back yard and left in our kitchen as a gift.
Our stay at Uri and Aliza’s house was delightful!
The house itself although in a small hamlet is in a good location to reach the beaches and numerous archaeological sites. Having been faithfully renovated in traditional style using all recycled materials it has a very homely historical feel.. Aliza’s artistic touch is everywhere and so tastefully done.
The island of Crete has everything from fabulous food , mountains, gorges, clear sea for swimming and beaches of all different types. We (four adults) enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and looked forward to coming back to Blue Daisy house at the end of each day where the hamlets dog Bilbo and the neighbours cats were waiting with a very welcome wag of the tail and meowing!.. The plunge pool wasn’t open for us being October however must be wonderful in the warmer summer days…
Thank you

Uri and Alice were wonderful guest in our home! They looked after everything beautifully and really showed appreciation and respect in every way possible.
Were fortunate to be there when they arrived so was wonderful to spend some time showing them where everything was and having a chat before we left… in fact we arranged to come back an evening earlier as they offered to cook dinner for us before they left. This of course turned out to be a real treat and we are now firm friends and will keep in touch. We are looking forward to visiting their house in Crete in October and hope to also visit their house in Tele Viv when possible…
Ron and Naomi’s home was a joy to stay in!
For both parties it was a first ever exchange so we were looking forward to the experience.
Before the travel date we managed two or three face time calls to have the opportunity to ask questions and say hi….
The Napa Valley was a completely new destination for uz and so it was very exciting. It is a wonderful area if you love wine and the outdoor life… we hiked, cycled and ate and drank ! There is so much to do and places to visit… San Francisco is just over an hours drive . The National Parks are very close…and so we explored the region…. The coast is an hour away with a very rugged coastline but also so amazing beaches. The scenery is quite stunning!
The house is beautifully furnished and very spacious as well as extremely well equipped. with an enormous master suite.
In a quiet neighbourhood yet near the centre of Napa.
The town and area is very lively with everything on hand and great shopping facilities.
Ron and Naomi obviously love their home as it is so well presented and we lacked nothing so it wasn’t long before we relaxed and settled.
We all kept in touch throughout the stay (on WhatsApp)offering each other further suggestions and any help.
Although we haven’t met we feel as though we are friends and look forward to meeting up in the future.
On arrival back to our home in the UK the house was completely up together and had been taken care of with a present and a beautiful thankyou card waiting for us!!!
A very positive experience overall.
