General overview

We live in the center of Holland, Tiel, a small city with enough facility s, such as a theater, shopping centre, restaurants, cinema, library, trainstation. you can take the train to Utrecht - 45 minutes- Amsterdam -90 minutes- Arnhem -45 minutes- and walk and cycle in the surrounding of Tiel. A typical Dutch landscape with the river and its dykes, the mills and the little dykehouses.

The space

Its a typical dutch house from 1934. Not big, but cosy and colourfull. A livingroom with a hearth, a large kitchen with dishwasher, oven, cooking on gas. Bathroom with bath next to the kitchen. Upstairs 3 bedrooms, two double beds, 1 single bed. A sheltered backyard where you can sit and eat.

Guest access

3 floors, not very easy accessible for handicapped persons.

Notes

We do have 3 cats. And we hope that who want to make an exchange is going to take care of our cats too. Though if neccesary, we have someone who can come and feed them daily. For the musicians; there is a piano. We do have bikes for those who want to travel as a real Dutch person. Holland is really a country for bikes.

Neighbourhood

Our neighbourhood is quiet, , you walk to the center in 10 minutes and to the trainstation also in 10 minutes.

Getting around

Supermarkets, 5 minutes walk. De Betuwe, which is our region, is famous for its blossoms from the middle of april until the beginning of may. Its beautiful to walk or bike along the rivers. But also in summer its good to be here, with the forest only 17 km away, The Efteling, 1 hour drive. Castles to see, We are used to receive guests in our bed and breakfast and we can help you organise your trip with all kind of information what to do in Holland. In winter you will also love to cocoon a bit near the fire, after spending a busy day in Amsterdam, Arnhem, Utrecht, Delft, Leiden or other cities. Nothing is far away by train or car, because we live in the middle of Holland.
