General overview
Bring your family to the mountains for a family-friendly getaway! Enjoy the ease of vacation and comforts of home. This cozy home offers the amenities you desire (coffee machine, espresso maker, blender, toaster, microwave, full kitchen) and abundance space to relax or connect together.
What makes this place different is the stunning mountain views and sense of privacy, while being located 10 minutes from town and 1 hour from all of the best tourist destinations and fine dining in Vermont.
The space
The Guest House sleeps 6-8 people comfortably, with 2 bedrooms with King beds, 1 room with two Twin beds, and a sun room with convertible day-bed and trundle. Flip a switch and cozy-up by one of the two LP fireplaces! Enjoy happy hour on the front porch with view of the mountains and sheep in the pasture.

4 steps up into the house from the garage. Primary bedroom on first floor. Roll-in shower. Two bedrooms (King, 2 Twins) and one full bathroom with tub are located upstairs.
Notes
Walk to the nearby pond, sandbox, and berry patch. EV Charger available next door. Garage parking access. High speed wifi.
Springtime travel is challenging, as the road is dirt and can become muddy. Guests should be aware that snow is possible October - May, and vehicles should have appropriate winter tires, high clearance and 4wD.

The Guest House is located at the end of a country road, with the owners' Bed & Breakfast and property next door. Enjoy 70 acres of meadows, pasture and forest. Watch the sheep grazing in the field. Take a stroll down the country road. Bring a book, take up painting, start writing your memoirs... Enjoy the peace and quiet and make yourself at home!
Getting to my home
Arrivals by air, please rent a vehicle and drive an easy route (no traffic, simple roads) 45 minutes. Other guests, please just let us know when you're arriving so we can have the space ready for you!

Burlington (BTV) airport is 45 miles away.
Getting around
A vehicle is necessary to access the property and/or visit local shops and amusements. In winter or spring, we recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance.

The first floor primay bedroom has a desk, smart tv for streaming, reading lights, large closet, bureau, second small closet, and attached bathroom with accessible shower, double sinks and commode.

The upstairs second bedroom has two Twin size beds and lots of books and toys for kids to enjoy. There is also a rocking chair, travel crib and sleep sounds machine.

The Guest House is located up a long driveway, with sheep as the only visible neighbor. See the house, located at the top of the hill. Enjoy your privacy!

The open concept kitchen, dining room and living room allows for a great space to connect with each other and have your own getaway.
The long driveway offers privacy.
The full kitchen has all of the amenities you desire - coffee maker, espresso machine, kettle, blender, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, stove and oven, overhead fan, toaster, etc. There is also a fire extinguisher and smart smoke detector.
Guests have access to two garage bays. Enjoy a warm and cozy car, with no snow removal!
Bring your golf clubs and go for a swing!

The Sun Room has a convertible day bed with trundle that can be used as two Twin Beds or one King bed. It is a cozy place to watch wildlife in the meadow next door!

Nextdoor, there is a pond with beautiful mountain views. No lifeguard on duty, but fun for fishing or for kids to have a supervised swim or catch frogs!

Foliage season is a must-see experience! We are located in the heart of the best foliage viewing area, typically in late September through mid October.

Located next to some of the best skiing and riding in Vermont! The mountain pictured is home to Sugarbush (Ikon pass) resort and independent gem Mad River Glen ("Ski it if you can!")
Take a walk down the country road. You might find a snack of raspberries or apples in season.
Stop by the little free library when you walk around the pond!
