General Overview

We live in a house in a quiet and family friendly area that is well connected to transportation and within a walking distance to two thermal swimming pools, downtown, supermarket and nice walks.

The Space

The house is 188 sq.m. on two floors, with entrance, kitchen, living rooms and half bath downstairs. Upstairs we have four bedrooms, bathroom with bath and shower and a laundry room with washer and dryer.

Guest Access

House is on two floors and is not accessible for wheelchairs.

Notes

Hafnarfjörður is an old merchants and fishermans town which used to be known in Iceland as the town in the lava field. It has a strong town feel with wonderful older houses which are well kept. Town center consists of shops and services, a public library and an arts center, and the town also boasts an impressive selection of cafés and restaurants of high caliber.

Our neighborhood is family friendly, quiet and yet central. All services are within an easy walk or no more than 5 min drive. It is in a prime location for excursions both within town and in the southwest of Iceland.

Transport connections are very easily accessible and a bus stop for the nr. 1 bus line is 5 min walk.
