General overview
Our apartment is located in one of the most sought after central neighbourhoods in Lisbon. A few minutes walk to tram, bus, metro and next to a shopping center with large supermarket.
It is very light and spacious.
The space
There are 4 large bedrooms and 3 small bathrooms (2 with bath, 1 with shower).
The kitchen has everything you'd need, but is a bit dated.
Airco is available in most rooms.
There are also 2 balconies, 1 with a laundry area (we only have a washer, not a dryer).
The flat is part of a large 80ties building with concierge, and we have an underground shared garage space.
Guest access
The building has elevators, but they are tiny so it is unfortunately not wheelchair accesible. We are on the 4th floor, and have no stairs in the flat itself.
Notes
The building and flat are older, so even though renovations were done previously, it is still a flat that has some older appliances (but working well) and older plumming, elevators etc. What you get back is a very spacious flat, with sizes you dont see in newer buildings.

Neighbourhood
But above all what makes this flat unique is its location:
You have the best of both worlds by being at the entrance of the old part of town but in a quieter more local zone. This means that within the city you dont need transport as you can walk everywhere or take one of the iconic trams that stops right in front of our door.
Getting to my home
As the flat is so central it is easy to reach.
The nearest metro is 5 min walk downhill. There are a large number of busses stopping right nextdoor to us as it has a bigger shopping center. And we even have an iconic tram servicing our area.
Taxis and Bolt/Uber is largely available too and not expensive.
Plus we have a car we can exchange with.
Nearest airport
We are a 20 min drive from the airport, which is located in the city. This means most of the city, including us, has some flight noise.
Getting around
Around us there are many shops, parks, historic sights etc. Lots reachable by simply walking, and if you get tired of walking the hills you take any of the options mentioned earlier to get back home.
Lisbon has some nice beaches and towns nearby reachable by public transport or you can go a bit further out and visit Ericeira, Sintra, Costa Caparica, Alentejo which are all easily reachable by car for a nice day trip.
