We live in a comfortable apartment in the ground floor of three apartments building in Ljubljana, capital of Slovenia. The apartment comes with a nice garden facing the park. The neighborhood is very quiet although it is only minutes by car/bus to the city center. We have two outdoors/indoors cats (Tommy and Molly) who will appreciate your love and care.
Slovenia is the first country in the world to be declared a green destination based on the Green Destinations Criteria. Situated in the heart of Europe, Slovenia is a boutique country between the Alps, Mediterranean Sea, mysterious Karst with more than 11,000 karst caves and Pannonian Plain, rich in healthy water springs. We are also proud that our capital Ljubljana was awarded the European Green Capital 2016 title. Welcome to Slovenia, the only country with the word LOVE in its name!
In Slovenia, you can swim in the sea in the morning and climb mountains in the afternoon. You can enjoj our lovely coast and little towns of Piran, Portorose, Isola or Koper starting your day with a proper capuccino in italian Trieste. Or you can hike (or take a ride) to beautifil mountains as Velika Planina, Vogel, Triglav national park... or simply walk arounf lake Bled and Bohinj or explore one of a kind Postojna Caves with Predjama castle.
Whatever you choose in the morning it is ideal for a day trip as all of Slovenia's must see spots are within one one hour or less from Ljubljana.

We live in a very quiet neighbourhood. We are almost at the end of the street, two houses before the woods so you can very often see raindeers wandering around. On the other side we can reach the city center in 10 minutes by car or 20 minutes by bike.
Getting around
You would need car or bike going for shopping as there is only one bakery few minutes walk form the apartment.
