Hospitality Description: As Rotary members we have been on exchanges and enjoy showing people around our city. We would be prepared to pick you up from the airport and get you back there when you leave. We are happy to provide breakfast each day and at least one dinner during your stay. We have a small hypo allergenic Maltese Shih Tzu who is quiet and friendly.

General overview
We are located in the quiet Songhees area, just steps to the ocean and a 10-minute across the bridge to downtown Victoria. Just a two-minute walk to the local pub and a three-minute walk to Boom and Batten, one of Victoria's finest restaurants, situated right on the water next to the Marina.
The space
2 corner patios, one with water view, heated ensuite bathroom floors, Toto Washlet (integrated bidet, with heated seat), ensuite laundry room, with Bosch washer and dryer, second full bath adjacent to guest room. Great kitchen for cooking and entertaining. Comfortable for 4 adults or 4 adults with a child (2nd bedroom sleeps 3.)

We are on the 2nd floor and there is elevator access. There are no stairs in the suite.

Parking stall can be made available with advance notice; otherwise visitor parking is available for up to 3 weeks.

Neighbourhood
The Marina, Boom and Batten Restaurant, Spinnakers Pub are less than a 5 minute walk. The Delta Ocean Pointe Resort and Spa is less than a 10 minute walk, as is access to a shopping mall.
Getting to my home
We are on an Island. Best to organize flights to terminate in Victoria, versus Vancouver. Uber and taxis are available from the airport and cost is approx $50 CAD from the airport.

Getting around
If you walk regularly, you will be able to cross the bridge to downtown Victoria in approximately 10 minutes. Once across the bridge you will have access to numerous restaurants, entertainment, sightseeing - everything the downtown core has to offer. From our place to the inner harbour is approximately 20 minutes. If you get tired from walking, you can take an Uber, taxi or water taxi home. Public transportation improves year by year; BC transit is $2.50 CAD
