Neighbourhood

Zalaegerszeg is a small, green town in the western part of Hungary. The nearest lake where you can swim is 4 km from our house. There are lots of vineyards and forests around. There is a water park Aqua City with plenty of pools and slides, it also houses the biggest wave pool in Hungary. http://www.aquacity.hu/en/ There is also an indoor/outdoor thermal spa - where you can relax all year round. https://zalaegerszegturizmus.hu/info/latnivalok/fedett-termalfurdo/ There is an adventure park in the nearby forest - kids can climb, jump and drive a go-karts there. Lake Balaton - the biggest natural lake in Central Europe, is 50km away - it is beautiful at all seasons. Our town is a perfect base to travel to Graz, Vienna and Budapest for a day.
