General Overview

Welcome to our apartment in Vemdalen, the northern part of Sweden. Our apartment is a perfect "ski in/ski out" location in the winter, but also a great startpoint for the summer adventures. From the balcony you have amaxing views over the the village "Klövsjö", also known as the "most beautiful town in Sweden".

The Space

This is a fully equipped apartment, that is suitable for 4 people. The two bedrooms looks exactly the same, and is equipped with two single-beds in each room. The living room has a SmartTV with AppleTV, form the kitchen window you have amazing views. And if you are lucky you will see the Northern Lights. There is also a sauna in the apartment!

Neighbourhood

Welcome to the fantastic Vemdalen! (https://www.vemdalen.se/en/) Vemdalen is a paradise all year round. In the winter it is all about skiing, but we love it there in the summer aswell, where we hike, bike, fish and often see the northern lights! This is a genuine Swedish mountainresort, where it is all about taking it easy and enjoying life. It is a 7 hrs drive or train/busride from Stockholm, but is worth the drive if you love mountains and nature. Vemdalen is close to Norway if you want to visit Norway aswell.

Easiest by car, bus or train. Flying into Östersund airport (1,5 hrs away).

Linda

Hi! We are a family of 4 that live outside the capital of Sweden, Stockholm. We also have a dog, a labrador retriever named Zelda. We love everything that has to do with beeing outdoors, such as skiing, hiking, swimming and biking. Anything really that we can do together outside. On the list of things we would like to learn is surfing and diving! We really enjoy travelling, but we also love to host people and share our best part of Sweden. We have a secondary home that we rent out on Airbnb and has in that way practiced hosting for many years. So, who are we? Markus works in Law and Linda works as a Management Consultant but also holds a degree in teaching business, social sciences and Spanish at High School/Upper Secondary. We are travelling with our children Tyra (15yrs) and Folke (13 yrs). We are looking forward to see places we might not have found or thought about if it wasn't for PLU!
