General overview
Our apartment is in a quiet safe and green area, in the first suburbs of Padova. Very close to bus stop. You can reach the center easily by bus (about 20'), by car in 15' and by bike in 25' (cycling path along the channel). Our 4 bikes and our car are available during swap.
Nearby there are pizzerie, bar and a little (very little) grocery. Supermarkets, Pharmacy, Newspapers kiosk, Fruit shop, Bakery, Butchery are about 10 minutes far by car.
The Catholic Church is about 200 m. far from home and in close proximity there is a wonderful walks along the channel, if you want you can walk up to Venice...
Padova is an historic Roman town, held of the second oldest university in Italy (Bologna is the oldest one). Many Italian and foreigner students coming here to study at the university and many tourist coming to visit the Giotto’s painting at Scrovegni Chapel, the Mantegna’s painting at Eremitani Church, St. Antony Basilica, Prato della Valle (the biggest square in Europe), Caffè Pedrocchi, Erbe and Frutti Squares, the streets of the shopping, the famous food market “sotto il salone”.
15’ by car to Abano and Montegrotto Terme with its famous and relaxing thermal swimmingpools.
30’ by train to Venice, 20’ to Vicenza, 40’ to Verona and Ferrara, 1 hour to Bologna, 2 hours to Florence and Milan, 4 hours to Rome. By car you can reach Garda Lake, Dolomiti Mountains, Mantova, Adriatic sea…

The space
Our apartment is at the top floor (3rd floor with elevator) of a building of 19 units. In its more than 200 mq we have a great leaving room with sofas, tv, hifi, wii, cd player, fireplace, an equipped kitchen, a little wc, a small laundry and an interesting roof garden (about 80 mq) with table and chairs, deck chairs and sunbed, where we usually eat and have relax during the spring and summer months. Stairs lead in the floor under the roof where we have three rooms: (two rooms with king size beds and One with a french bed), two bathrooms (shower and tub) and a "messy" dressing room.
