General overview

"Sunset_Magnolia" is the 2nd home apartment that we just recently bought and renovated in the South of the beautiful island of Tenerife - in the archipelago of the Canary Islands (Spain). We put our heart and soul into it and we hope that you will also fall in love with it. We decided to offer it also in exchange, as that's what we enjoyed over the years so much. We can offer it during the summer season (mid. June, July, August) as outside of that period we are offering it for short-term rental. This small town is well-known for its unbeatable Cliffs (Acantilados de Los Gigantes) and for eternal summer with a great sun exposition that lasts all year long! Here you can enjoy the best of both: a peaceful environment, blooming flowers, a very quiet and respectful neighbourhood, and a central location (just a short walk from the lively Los Gigantes or Puerto de Santiago).

The space

The apartment is perfect for a couple (2 adults) or other a single traveller. It is not suitable for children (we don't have a communal pool). Our recently renovated high-standard apartment consists of: - two separate rooms: spacious living room with an open-plan kitchen with an island, - separate master bedroom with a private patio (exclusive to the apartment), - sunny terrace (South/West exposition) Parking (free) is right in front of our building The apartment is fully and modernly equipped with: - stable fibre-optic internet (WIFI) - TV (Spanish / British cable) - SONOS music speaker controlled by the SONOS app. - alarm system with monitoring - washing machine + detergents - ceiling fan - standing fan - "foot" bicycle pump Dining area: - new water filters & reverse osmosis system (drinkable water) - induction cooker - complete dining/cooking equipment - electric kettle -toaster - Nespresso capsule machine - fridge/freezer - microwave/oven Bathroom: - walk-in-shower - gel /shampoo/hand-wash - hair-dryer - bathroom towels - beach towels

Guest access

In case of mobility issues, please be mindful that the only entrance to the apartment leads through our terrace with around 12 steps.

Notes

It's our 2nd home that is very far away from our primary home (in Poland). Therefore it's taken care of by a local professional company that will prepare the apartment before & after your stay (for example: turning on the water, amenities, preparing the furniture, cleaning linen&towels etc.), and doing the same after your departure + necesarry security tasks). Handling the keys would also be done by them. We would appreciate it if our guest would be open to cover the cost of that service which is approx. 90 euros as we simply can't prepare and do the check-up ourselves as we normally did in our primary home. This wouldn't apply in case our partners also faced similar costs caused by our own trip (reciprocal exchange).

Neighbourhood

Our apartment is located in its' most prestigious part - Crab Island, only a few steps from the Natural Pool which is less than 100 m. away. You couldn't be closer to the Atlantic Ocean, yet at the same time stay far from the crowded tourist zone and overwhelming big hotels. Everything is within walking distance reach: Piscina Natural, Playa Los Guios, Playa de Santiago, Playa de la Arena, Mercadona, Lidl, pubs, pharmacies, restaurants and so much more!

Getting to my home

Internation flight to Tenerife South Airport (Reina Sofia), many flights every day from different locations (check Wizzair, Ryanair, Jet2) and 35 min. taxi/transfer to Los Gigantes. Or: national flight from one of many airports within Spain to either Tenerife North Airport or Tenerife South Airport + transfer from the North (around 75 min. and from the South 35 min.

Nearest airport

Tenerife South Airport (Reina Sofia) is just 40 km. away (35 min. ride). There are many private transfer options and a taxi costs around 50 euros (2 people - one way). By a public bus, it takes around 2 hours (with one intersection)

Getting around

You don't need a car. There is a great bus service just a few minutes walk from our apartment and there are many private transfer and taxi companies available - we can help with organizing them.
