Outside we have a small undercover space.
I am a keen gardener and we would appreciate your help by watering it if you are here during dry periods.

Neighbourhood
Our home is in a quiet residential area.
Like all cities with medieval roots, York is compact. No place is far from another or hard to find.
We are less than 3 kilometres/1.5 miles from the city centre, you can walk there in about 35 minutes, on the sidewalk, or through Clifton Ings parkland all the way into the heart of the city centre at Lendal Bridge, or catch a regular bus, then everything is at your fingertips. Cafes, restaurants, tourist attractions, bars, theatres, museums and art gallery. Daytime or evening; it is really easy to go to the city centre which is a 10 minute journey during off peak times.
Locally, we have 2 supermarkets, restaurants, cinema, bowling alley, pub, coffee shop and takeaway food.
Most photos on our listing are taken in York City centre and are around 2 miles from our home. Other destinations have a travel time in the text underneath the photo - for example, at the Yorkshire coastline, which is about one hour from our home.

Getting Around
We are inside the York ring road which is extra convenient and means you do not need a car whilst staying at our home to explore York and our coastline.
Park & ride buses are every 10 minutes throughout the day to the centre. or walking to the city centre is an option as we have a walkable neighbourhood.
York is a beautiful city full of history and is pedestrian friendly.
You can also take many day trips from the rail station to the east coast or Harrogate, Knaresborough, Scarborough and Sheffield or Leeds, Newcastle or Durham for example.
