General overview

Peace and tranquility amidst the forest woodland area, no visible neighbours through the trees, visited frequently by the local wildlife (kangaroos, wrens, kookaburras,cockatoos etc). 10 minute drive to the shops, stunning beaches and close to the famous Yallingup and Margaret River surf breaks. Wineries abound, the closest one about 3 mins away.

The space

3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, study, kitchen and lounge overlooking beautiful woodland areas. Many options for outdoor seating to experience the forest ambience, outdoor plunge pool for summer. Woodfires in winter.

Notes

We have 2 pets, a dog and a cat. If needed, we can get the dog looked after nearby. The cat is an indoor cat, because of the varied wildlife species visiting, particularly bird life (the blue fairy wrens often visit, we hand feed them meal worms).

Several wineries, fine restaurants, stunning beaches, nearest town/shops/cafes about 10 mins drive, Exceptional surf breaks nearby, Yallingup, Smiths Beach, Injidup, Gracetown, Margaret River. 4 good golf courses within 30 min drive, Dunsborough Lakes, Busselton, Capel and Margaret River Golf Clubs. Several off road mountain bike trails within 30 min drive. July-Nov, frequent whale sightings off the coast, humpbacks, southern rights and blue whales on their southern migration.

Busselton Airport for domestic flights,30 mins away. Perth Airport for International flights, 3 hours away.

Getting around

The nearest shops, for groceries and fuel, is a 10 minute drive away. Goanna Bush cafe is less than 5 mins away by car, or a 15 min walk through the forest. Usually very busy, good food and coffee. Commonage Coffee is about a 5 min drive away, with the attached Yallingup Chocolate Company. The closest wineries are less than 3 min drive, with several other options within 30 mins, including fine restaurants for lunch.
